Aw man, this show, as awesome as it is opened me up to LOTS of new music, both of the time period and Ireland via situations like this and I'm much appreciative of it. But this one hit home. Apart from it being awesome, I was drinking a beer when it came on. Hell, It touched me so much I watched the encore that night just to sing along. Awesome show.

There is a great by the three irish tenor but this one is really goo. I once former IRA guy who was a prisoner with bobby sands he said this is saddest song ever I agree. I shed a tear for this song when it is done right.

It can be said when people do these really meaningful things as saying "I'm from New Foundland and love this song" or "I'm from near Carrickfergus". Why would I care? Well, I'm from Sweden and I too love this song, in case anyone's interested, though it doesn't seem very interesting to me. But of course, if it makes anyone happy to say where they're from they should feel free to do it.
