I must admit. I fell madly in love with Mary the first episode she was in. The most gorgeous, elegant, classy woman ever. The accent didn't hurt either

I recently completed the Big Finish audio dramas, 'The Dalek Contract' and 'The Final Phase', the concluding two parter to the second series of Big Finish's Fourth Doctor Adventures, and I absolutely adored Tom Baker and Mary Tamm's performances, along with John Leeson as K-9, David Warner as Cuthbert and, of course, Nick Briggs as the Daleks. The story itself was a wonderfully 70s-style adventure with the Supreme Dalek being sadistic and Cuthbert mispronouncing Romana's name - Romona! - but the final scene was a tearjerker, with Mary Tamm's last performance as the character. It still brings a tear to my eye that she's gone...but thanks to your tribute, the work of Big Finish and the sheer brilliance of Mary Tamm as the first and, to many, noblest Romana of them all, she will never be forgotten.

My favourite Dr. Who companion. The Key to Time, was an amazing and first time I realized an arc, that told a bigger story. Not episodic, that begins and ends in the same episode.
