You did a great tutorial. Maybe a stronger magnet would help. Try soaking the polish in warm water. It works for me when polishes are starting to get old too.

The colors are pretty but I haven't had luck with the cat eye from born pretty. Their colors are very pretty for sure.. Holo Taco & moon cat have some awesome cat eye items & products.. I wanted the cat eye to work better also but it jus wouldn't something about the thickness i think had something to do with it maybe.. loved your video though..
Get a knife to open the plastic on the package. Looks cooler. Also helpful incase of random intruder midvideo.

Beginners, bad luck. You did really well. I'm by no means an expert, but from watching another CZcamsr. She usually puts a base coat on first. Also, you have to re disturb the cat eye by putting another coat on the swatch. It does take a lot of practice. Also, you may need a stronger magnet. Or try using two magnets together. I'm not an expert, I'm just trying to help. You did a fantastic first video.
Also need to move faster with cat eye
