I've been riding euc for two years, and discovered "free line/skate" Last year.... i practice but it's not easy....
I'm not as easy on freeskate that Jeff on euc....
But i know thé reason!! Weather is better in california than in France to practice freeskate...

Thanks to this video, I've discovered how versatile freeskates are and ended up ordering a pair from JMK. I normally ride EUCs and Onewheels so this will be a very different experience for me, keeping my fingers crossed. BTW, EUCs are super maneuverable if you get a lighter model with a smaller wheel- the Sherman is on the bigger end of the spectrum so I can see why it has trouble on the ramps and weaving between pedestrians. That is not an issue on something like the Inmotion V11 or V12. Also, Onewheels would be perfect for dragging analog riders along due to the side stance :)

Great video! EUC's and freeskates are definitely a good combo, since I got my EUC one month ago for my long commutes in Paris☺I can't sit on it like Jeff tho 😂(yet!). As freeskates it's very compact, that's why I like it, and it can go very fast! :)

EUCs and Freeskates are complimentary. I know I've put my freeskates in their JMK Shoulder bag and then cruised over to a local park on my EUC.

Sick vid! I too have been into euc for years, but recently picked up skates about 2 weeks ago, for me and my son. Free skates have been fun to ride, but damn it's much more difficult to learn vs euc. learning how to pump, is the tough part.

Have you guys ever considered putting straps on these things for people who wanna use these purely for functionality? I've added velcro straps on mine and I feel secure lol.
I been practice on freeskate for q sometime yet I can't really do it on flat floor more then 50 meter. Can some one please advise . Kind of 😞 frustration
Hey there! Try practicing on a very slight decline. The extra speed should help you with balance/staying upright, so then you can focus on learning the motion. Practice the motion until you feel it start to propel you, and then transfer that knowledge to flat ground, and then eventually uphill when you’re comfortable :)

The EUC seems really heavy. How would you say it works for hopping on a train as part of your commute?
Many have handles. So you can roll them like luggage. Very heavy tho
The longer the range and higher top speed, the heavier it is. But on flats it is effortless to trolley them around. Carrying them up stairs takes work. The medium ones aren’t too bad at 50 or 60lbs you get used to it. The long range ones are about 100 lbs and are hard to carry up stairs. Hopefully you have elevators or escalators.
Small EUC like the Begode Mten4 are less than 30lbs!

Look. No offense but it's no contest here. EUC is the greatest thing since toilet paper. If you have the money get an EUC it's the only PEV you can casually roll up to a table in a restaurant and no one cares or even notice. They literally just think you're trolleying a strange looking suitcase.
They're definitely amazing! I feel similarly about freeskates - One of my favorite things is being able to roll up to a store, restaurant, etc and just hide the skates next me or slide them into a bag... Insanely small profile, yet immediate (and infinite, due to no charging) accessibility!
@@jmkride In a way so are an EUC an upscaled version of the Freeskates as it's larger, faster and longer range. Less exercise, but that also means it's less tiring or sweaty.
EUC is good for going long distance, but freeskates will keep your body healthy.
