Bach is the perfect companion during COVID-19! Many thanks, Augustin. I have been lucky to have heard you in concert quite a few times, and hope for many more. Let us hope this crisis will be over soon. Music will be pivotal to our recovery.
I love the way he so deftly highlighted all the different interweaving voices/parts while maintaining the phrasing and not losing any forward momentum and tone. Bravo!
Dear Maestro Hadelich, I have experienced your playing twice in Seattle. You enter into the music, find its origin somehow, break it apart and make it your own. It is as though I am hearing it for the first time, fresh, inspired, warm, inviting, absolutely beautiful. Thank you.
Wow, that was some seriously impressive balancing of voices. All of the counterpoint on the D and A strings was clear and balanced during the bariolage with the open E. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised by how stylistically informed it is...Hadelich really is cutting edge.
I think I’ve just found my favourite rendition of this! Incredible speed, clarity, energy and sound, also beautiful phrasing and line to the music. Not bad for a home recording. Thanks for sharing !
Bravo AH, bravo Bach! You allowed me to hear phrases in this piece that I’d never heard before! Thank you for that and for sharing your passion on this channel! ❤️🎻🎼🎵🎶👏☘️🇮🇪
Beautiful. What a treat to hear Augustin perform these. I was 10 when I first listened to the Bach solo sonatas and partitas on record. I couldn't believe I wasn't hearing 2 violins, the 2 voices Bach composed so distinctive.
To be honest, he needs a lot more of practice to get rid of this ridiculous vibrato. His posture is horrible due to the chin rest and maybe he should change to gut strings. Otherwise he shouldn't be granted to play this grand master!
Absolutely sublime! I'm a senior in high school going into music for college and this was one of the pieces I used for auditions. I love the piece and this is definitely my favorite recording!
Fabio Mino I auditioned at IU Jacobs school of music, Cincinnati Conservatory, Blair School of music at Vanderbilt University, and University of Iowa School of music.
What a perfect performance, magnificent intonation, mastery of articulation, and overall uplifting aural experience! I cannot fathom how 16 people disliked this!
Almost 12 years ago I was sitting about six feet from you while you played a well-known concerto. I believe you were playing a different violin then - this one sounds very good too. Bravo!!!
Dear Maestro Hadelich, thank you for this posting. You've been an absolute joy in my life each time you've come to Seattle to perform. The first time for me was the Mendelssohn and you had me in tears in the second movement. It drove me to delve into "This Is Your Brain On Music" just to understand the connection between you, the music and my emotions. What I came to understand is that each of us responds in unique ways, and that meant you and the instrument are uniquely attuned to my brain, for which I am truly grateful. Please stay safe, Maestro...the world needs you more than ever.
takes me to the heights of the angels. a metaphor just for Augustin - beams of sun, blues of the sky, whites of floating cumulus clouds, and lightness of the soul. i can still hear the lively strains of his violin. . . 🌼✨
Thanks. Looking at you being productive induces me to be productive as well. So many things to do when the coronavirus is afoot and so little energy in my case. At least I get to spend time with my family...
That level of musicality, layering and technique... It’s hard to live without Hadelich’s music.
George Ng I’d say impossible!❤️
Well actually it' Bach's music :p

Wow, I've never heard someone playing this piece which such a clear intonation! I'm playing it, too, and so just wow, i admire you that's not easy 😍
Emy XD check out Heifetz.
@@ab-zg8pt heifetz is still superior
Isabelle Faust too!
"Check out Heifetz..." Comparing to God is not fair!
People saying Heifetz is better , no ? Even Milstein is cleaner and more pleasing than Heifetz . Also Heifetz phrasing is not as colorful as here .
Your articulation and clarity are masterful. More “practice” videos!

Wunderschön klar gespielt, danke Ihnen!
Oh my God. This is my new preferred rendition this piece. Augustin is the new Heifetz. 🎶🎻
I think I’ve just found my favourite rendition of this! Incredible speed, clarity, energy and sound, also beautiful phrasing and line to the music. Not bad for a home recording. Thanks for sharing !
You have created a place of beauty in this difficult time for the world. Bravo!
Oh my God. If I only could play 1% of this i'd be thankful. Congratulations!
Bravo AH, bravo Bach! You allowed me to hear phrases in this piece that I’d never heard before! Thank you for that and for sharing your passion on this channel! ❤️🎻🎼🎵🎶👏☘️🇮🇪
When the playing is so precise (and it is filmed properly) that you can figure out his exact fingering.
Beautiful. What a treat to hear Augustin perform these. I was 10 when I first listened to the Bach solo sonatas and partitas on record. I couldn't believe I wasn't hearing 2 violins, the 2 voices Bach composed so distinctive.
If that was a practice video, then you do not need to practice anymore.
No~~ u can change a movement to practice haha
Then you don't understand the meaning of practice.
@@Thalesschuster Since you appear to know better than me, please tell me what he should practice in this piece to sound better.
Thales Schuster i knew someone would make a serious response to this comment smh
To be honest, he needs a lot more of practice to get rid of this ridiculous vibrato. His posture is horrible due to the chin rest and maybe he should change to gut strings.

Keep them coming please! You are making a lot of people incredibly happy and for a moment transfer to a different reality. For ever grateful!
That was simply amazing!

Love it!!!
Faszinierend. Soli Deo Gloria.
Brilliant!!! 👍
Beautiful!
The amount of control that you have is not okay 😩 this man really has more talent on his pinky than I do in my entire body
I know right?! I almost feel personally attacked! :-p This is practice?!?
Actual you probably have more talent than his pinkie because it’s not even on the bow...
@@alfredofettuccine2397 yeah he does that intentionally
You do this song so masterfully it makes me sad 😞 I can never play it as you can

Wow, so crisp! Noticed the fingering is very different (of course better) than what I use. Need to relearn this again ;) Thankyou
