Vladimir Malakhov: German Documentary on the artistic director of Staatsballett Berlin in his youth

- Dancer Vladimir Malakhov was born in Ukraine, trained at the Bolshoi Theater, and became the youngest First Dancer of the Moscow Classical Ballet.
He has worked with the Stuttgart Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre at the Metropolitan Opera, in addition to the National Ballet of Canada, and has been repeatedly compared by critics to the legendary Nureyev.
In 2002, Malakhov became ballet director of the Staatsoper Berlin and was artistic director and ballet artistic director at Staatsballett Berlin until 2014.
The film shows Malakhov as a young man in the early 1990s, during stage performances and rehearsals for a tribute to the legendary dancer Vaslav Nijinsky.

Спасибо за этот фильм. Владимир Малахов блестящий танцор. И такое счастье, что его карьера состоялась. Впервые увидела его на выпускном концерте училища.. Сразу было видно, что это удивительный талант. Его пластика необычайно выразительна и индивидуальна. Я много раз видела его на сцене, каждый раз было замирание от чуда.
I did not know him until recently. I saw him dancing on IG and immediately knew he is a genius. It turned out he is the famous Malakhov
Огромное вам спасибо за фильм. Малахов гениальный, совершенный танцовщик. Это лучшие "Видение розы" и "Нарцисс", именно в его исполнении. Трудно что-то писать про совершенство. Поэтому просто буду восхищаться.

Это не «Нарцисс»,а «Видение розы».Очень красивое исполнение.
"Видение розы" - в начале фильма, а примерно с 33:20 - именно "Нарцисс".
" Видение Розы ". Малахов -- артистичный , танцует легко, изящно.

К величайшему сожалению сейчас таких как Малахов, Цискаридзе, Деревянко нету. Школа русского классического балета не превзойдена. Есть много очень хороших современных постанлвок, но они взрощены на нашей классике.

Was füreine wunderbare Idee von Wassiliew seinen Narziss an Malakhov zu verschenken! Malakhov ist unglaublich gut in dieser Rolle - ebenso wie Wassiliew. Tausend Dank für dieses Porträt. Der Nachmittag eines Faun mit Polina Semionova hätte noch brilliant dazu gepasst.

Malakhov’s physique is _nothing_ like Nijinsky’s!! Who’s responsible for that canard?? Malakhov looks like a 12 year old boy, slim and with long muscles, whereas Nijinsky was stocky and heavily muscled in his arms and legs! They could not be _less_ alike! When I’m not even 3 minutes into a documentary when the first huge overstatement takes place, it means I’m not going to make it much further!
True. The comments are a bit stupil Also bringing Fotos of Nijynskis Faun into the Narziss. But: we have the whole Narziss with Malakhov!
