I actually really like these half sarcastic and half informative videos
This video touches on the whole syllabus of the first year of my degree in digital music and sound arts. It was a handy reminder, like bullet points for several essays whilst at uni.
I really enjoy Merzbow for some reason. It's so vastly different from most of the music I listen to, but I really like it.
Can’t believe I found brick window on a video like this
@@musicguy25 Hold on a sec, you actually recognize me? Are there actually people out there who know about my channel?
I love your videos btw@@musicguy25

I better see part two in the next 40 years
Will the 2nd part include a "how to make noise music" tutorial?
I dunno yet tbh
+Ángel Palomo get any tape, play it loud, run it through distortion, noise music
Kenneth Oblivion
What kind of tape? How do I apply distortion? Serious questions.
Any tape, put it in a cassette player , plug it into a distortion pedal(any distortion pedal) turn all the knobs up to 11, plug that into an amp or your computer and play it loud.
Thanks. Interesting suggestions. But why a cassette tape? Do I have to manipulate phisically in any way? I could use radio static or broken record players or a thousand different things, right?

I had to write on noise music for my Music Theory class, this is awesome and helped me alot.
Was not expecting Guillermo Del Toro to spit straight fire at the end
I love your humor and how much information your videos contain. my friends and I stream your stuff on Spotify during smoke sessions and its great. thanks for making really meta content for us to enjoy
I am composing Ambient currently and now going into Noise compositions. Taking a challenge for myself in making Noise Music popular and especially in Asia, which most people never heard of Ambient Music. I'm currently in progress composing for my full Guitar noise album. Which Guitar is the only instrument on this album. To my noise family.....Keep up the good fight !!!!!
Great video Frank! I've been informally researching a lot of the post modern musical canon relating to noise over the last few years and have to say that you made a very cohesive timeline of the evolution of sound and stuff!
it's always really spooky when people from like 100 years ago totally predicted stuff that's going on today. it's too bad because these guys would do pretty decent ad revenue today. maybe the future was slightly less glamorous than they expected tho.
I love yew. ._.
+Kat Blaque
+Kat Blaque Oaks are much better.
+Pepper I love Jews too, as much as I love Stew.
WELL COOKED.
+Kat Blaque wow you actually like a guy?
Frank this video was really well done. Great job! I can't wait to see more dude. And your editing skills have risen incredibly.
Glad ur back Frank, you made he day better
This was really cool and I'm very much looking forward to the next episode.
Whitehouse is god, I strive to be like Whitehouse with their great hits like "Cut Hands has the solution", "Force the Truth", "Princess Disease", and many of their other songs, I strive to make noise music as good as theirs
You should do more "the history of" different music genres that would be interesting :)
That's da plan!
+Ben Jordan Totally agree!!!!!
I LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your style is PERFECT, the crazy animation and random "lazy emotionless" humor is top notch. Plus you got tem undertale noise musicsss in there
(I wuv it)
This was a great video and I'm so excited for the next one, keep it up buddy!
your voice gives me asmr tingles

Love your stuff!
your channel is objectively the best on youtube
I did a presentation on noise today and this video was an important part of my research so thank you!
How to make noise:
1. Take an old mp3 player and put on a song
2. Smash it to the floor with all the force you have
3. Listen to the noises that are coming out of it
Wow amazing video like always!
This is super interesting as always! ^^ Amazing job Frank! Keepin' it Aesthetic! ;)
Still wainting on part 2. Bravo on this one
This is fantastic thank you.
Awesome video, Frank!
just lovely
Oh hai, I'm glad that you still remember me (not sure about that tho) and my request - noise music! Thank you Frankie. With love, 1k subscriber
You deserve more views yo. Content is funny.
howcome back then the only way to discover something was by accident
That's a good question.
FrankJavCee teach how to make lowercase music
Just discovered your channel. Amazing content, mate. Subscribed.
i try, not to laugh on your videos, and i fail every time.... you have a very entertaining humour.
Thanks for this video! Nice to see a video about the history of noise music that has got both humour but is also kind of serious about it too! :)
Oh, and another good point that i noticed was that it shows some different styles of noise music and plays them along the video but in ways that it shouldn't be too hard to watch for those who are new to Noise Music.
Or, at least i think this should be an easy video to watch for them... i guess i can't objectively estimate how easy or hard it would be for them, now that i have listened to so much noise music myself since i found this music style. X)
But yeah, thanks for an entertaining video, looking forward to the second part(also, i should try to remember to watch more of your videos...)! :D
The way you tell the things is very hilarious!! :D
Never thought you would attack this niché and ESPECIALLY not in that length and two parts! I'm fascinated with noise since my youth, so I hope to get more convenient info from you in the next weeks.
Dude, I just discovered your channel and after only watching a handful of videos you are already one of my favorite CZcamsrs to date. As far as I'm concerned, you are up there with videogamedunkey, filthyfrank and h3h3studios. Much love. Keep doing what you're doing. Subbed!
Man, this is incredibly amazing
glad i found ya
how to make noise music
step one: take any audio or record your own
step two: make it really loud so it clips (optionally compress it so it doesn't hurt your ears)
step three: add effects
congratulations, now you can feel better than everyone because they don't understand your art
This video fills me with determination!
Was that a bleep bloop arrangement of a gymnopedie? Dayum, wuld bang.

"And so part 2 never came."
Wait...this video had...history and...smart stuff in it, I'm impressed. Seriously though, as someone who loves noise rock, this was fucking hilarious.

You are a nice teacher !
Excellent
Hey Frank, great video! Are you planning making a part 2 to this video?
I saw the doors in the 60s bands backround! I love the doors!
Frankkkk! Make part 2!!
5:22 That's cannon at the inversion and augmentation from Bach's Musical Offering!
A quick curiosity question. Is Throbbing Gristle going to be mentioned in the next part, or does Industrial not fall into the Noise genre? They pushed Industrial into visibility for the most part, if what I know is true.
+vaguelyhuman Yeah, it was kind of an obvious question, but there are some distinctions between the two that I felt like I should ask.
+MarmaladeJacket Noise is just a broad umbrella term referring to whatever the majority of listeners deem as undesirable or non-musical, being included in someone's music.
It's a bit vague to pin down, and it can change all the time depending on the opinion of the time.
I am not sure how that follows, you seem to be saying that metal vocals are not noise vocals; that is your opinion.
I have not found any such statements other than your own to say it is the way you describe it.
But I mean it doesn't really matter does it? It doesn't change the music at all just from what you or I have to think about it. Music is a social construct around sound, none of it goes really beyond opinion.
Industrial is what noise music used to be called.
PART 2 WHEN
Yer awesome, man.
