    Mam, Konkani from Kumta? Not Goan for sure. I am unable to place the exact place, definitely not north of Kumta. Very likely south of Kumta, but definitely not south of Honnavar.
    When you mix rava, after some time the rava absorbs the water in the batter and the batter thickens a bit.
    I have lately become a bit gluten intolerant, so I roast the rava with a bit of oil.

    I think it is called polo and not bhakri. Bhakri preparation is different like chapati. This looks like polo.
