      The video was uploaded 19th of March and maybe the interview was made some days before. The White House didn't take real action until the 27th of March?
      All this is really weird, Trump thanked China and Xi on Twitter already 24th of January for sharing and being transparent with information about this covid-19 virus, but it took almost 2 months before Trump finally realized that this wasn't any joke. Thanks to Dr Fauci New York accelerated finally!
      More weird is how the governor of Georgia has managed until 1 of April to don't understand how a virus is spread?
      If it was a April's fool joke, then a very bad one since his citizens will suffer badly! :(

    Off topic I just feel like God is watching everything. I’ve seen Asian people in Asian owned businesses on video beating up people in nail shops or beauty supply stores. I feel when you don’t appreciate or respect the people patronizing your business maybe you don’t deserve any business. I’m not saying any of this to be racist or biased but when I used to go to get my nails done or shop for hair they have this attitude and figure there’s always another customer and the respect isn’t there now they have no customers.

    This virus has taught us many things about our society. We knew most people live paycheck to paycheck, now we know businesses also live paycheck to paycheck.     What is the point of focusing on the difficulties of Chinese restaurants. Everybody has extreme difficulties. Hundreds of thousands will lose their jobs in a multitude of industries....travel, hotels, restaurants (not just Chinese), etc. This video is absurd because it seeks to extract only Chinese Restaurants as if there is a racist conspiracy against them.     My Chinese friends told me don't go to the Asian supermarkets. They don't go there themselves, and that was in February when the situation wasn't as bad as it is now. (Talking about Belgium here.       JNYC Rhino Bless Missed NYC's Chinatown's foods so so much, always thought wanting to go back to NYC to eat the typical, authentic and super delicious Cantonese cuisine normally only located in Chinatown. Believe it or not, Many Chinese cuisines especially Cantonese, Peking Duck, and others, are far far better than French, Italian, or Japenese foods OVERALL. Rationally, logically, and nutritionally wisely speaking and evaluating, one can tell which one(s) is far better in the world. 🌾🍲🍝

      @@iluvsquarez - A regular (surgical) facemask is not useless. Don't believe me? Look at EVERY country that has this virus contained, such as South Korea. All of their top infection control doctors say to wear them. Covid are droplets, not aerosol, so a surgical mask will stop virtually all particles. The only countries that have their virus contained without masks are the ones that have an environment that the virus has a hard time living in.

    Yes, lots of business are suffering period! Having worked in the area, I frequented some of those restaurants, I am not Asian but the majority of the clients in those restaurants were Asians. The newer restaurants are probably impacted most. I believe that some of these restaurants have been completely paid off and are owned, as they have been in New York for generations. Let’s hope things turn around soon.

      bat soup has never been sold in chinatown. bat soup isn't even common in mainland china.     Most of the customers in Chinatown are local Chinese residents that live in the area. They get some American customers but most are chinese. So that means even the Chinese are not shopping in Chinatown.

      @citrenoogeht millions of small businesses are losing so much money, laying off half of their employees. i'm sure you can have enough compassion to not blame one group of ordinary citizens for this problem.

    In usa they have Chinatown . Where chinese is mostly spoken with culture immersion and Same in india we have Puducherry where french is spoken with all its culture

    I feel so bad i don't care if they are Chinese. It's not their fault.. it hurts my heart Because at the end were all human beings and we all struggle. God bless everyone 🙏
