- One of my most memorable game in the PBA.....winning the game 7 All Filipino Championship vs a powerhouse Purefoods team. Although I was not able to play in this game, my teammates stepped up and delivered in my absence.

Presto showed pure guts and ❤ against the PF super team .. Arnie Tuadles #11 was the MAN!!!

The remnants of the Great Taste Dynasty that won 4 straight championships from 1984 - 1985 (Victorino, Tuadles, King), gathered their acts together and made one last encore performance to dedicate this championship for their injured franchise player, Allan Caidic. Add to that Padim Israel and Willie Generalao who were multiple champions in their days with Tanduay. This was the veterans' last hurrah, so to speak... and it could have never come at a greater time... saving the championsip for their fallen franchise player in a Finals Game 7.
Meaning to say Allan Caidic was not around this Game 7 right? Because of injury

Imagine Allan Caidic is 6' 8" and in his prime these days he can easily dominate PBA, FIBA, and even NBA!
just because the NBA has no defenses at all nowadays, allan is the greatest filipino shooter ever but he has his flaws too with quickness and post defense even if he stood 6 foot 7 he could be a shorter larry bird and would kill the majority of heartless players today including lebron and could very well rival curry and klay with his sniping
if he was 6’4 to 6’6 he has a chance to be in the nba as a sg. but i doubt it. at that time, the nba seldom looked for international players.

Sir Allan, the one & only talaga si Joe Cantada. Natatandaan ko pa nung nag MVP Ka that year, he recite a poem to describe your MVP performance. Dun ko unang narinig Yung salitang "Walastik"
I miss the late Smokin' Joe Cantada and Dr. Andy Jao doing the commentary for the PBA. Iba talaga yung outcome and adds to the excitement and fun. Imagine, a team of grizzly veterans from Crispa, Toyota and Tanduay walloped a Jolas and Alvin Patrimonio led Purefoods team for the championship. So surreal yet memorable talaga. 👍☺️

2nd year college ako nyan..ako lang ang presto fan sa boarding house.maaga natulog ang mga mapang asar ko na kasama sa boarding house.very memorable game.

Generelao, Padim and Onchie was with Purefoods during their maiden year but their were not used properly during their stint with the Hotdogs..The 6 Tanduay core players of Fernandez, Hubalde, Yango,Israel ,Generelao and Dela Cruz had a forgettable playing career with the Zobel Franchise due to some factors like the Management favored the Super Rookies ! Codinera,Lastimosa and Patrimonio plus wanting to have the Championship right away

Joe Cantada (Color commentator for that game), Andy Jao (Analyst for that game), Pinggoy Penson and Dick Ildefonso were the best... And they talked a lot of sense, walang halong ka ek-ek-an. Mai-educate ka pa sa laro.
