You're welcome and thank you I appreciate you being a part of the channel, so yes Ive actually folded the seats down and pushed the seat all t he way back and it works just fine, it was actually like that in this video when I picked up the groceries lol.
Like you said the Type R is the more special car but me personally I'd choose the GTI cause it's the better bang for your buck vehicle.

How’s the clutch and manual transmission compared to the R? I always felt like the gti clutch felt sticky and slow to engage
I can't speak for other GTI's but these 2024 GTI 380 clutches feels really strong much better than the MK8 Golf R clutch, this one feels like it was meant to take power.
