Electric Boats & Motors at Miami Boat Show EV Pavilion

At this year's Miami Boat Show I was on a mission to find out what's new in electric boating inside the Charged Electric Pavilion - a space designated for electric boats, electric outboard motors, electric water toys and more. I saw electric boats like X Shore, Vision Marine and Ingenity and electric motors from Torqeedo, ePropulsion and Hercules. There were even a few electric surprises outside of the pavilion at the show.

I have a late ‘80’s stern drive with a GM 350, roughly 240 hp. I wonder how the Hercules drive, roughly same hp, compares with stern weight, switching the engine for a big battery. I love my boat, classic 80’s deck, and might consider repowering with an electric drive. Thank you for the video!

If you have to repower anyway might be worth considering electric.. I recall Hercules saying it was around $30k but check with them! Thanks & glad you liked video! 👍⚡️
