Yeah that's what happened to me, I remember the song once from this fever dream of smoking weed as a kid like 13 yrs old. Just enjoying life like a sip of wine, try to find the song when I was like.. 18.. fucking impossible to find.. there was no fucking CZcams search it was find it on likewire and download the stupid ass "studio" version or the real version idfk but all I knew was the one I kept downloading did NOT hit as hard as the song I heard and the movie and it like legitimately fucked me up I felt betrayed until I finally found the real song like the way I heard it in the movie anyways

Dude same here! It was one of those movies that only played at like 3am on HBO or Starz.. I remember one night I had trouble sleeping and this came on and It caught my attention so hard. It really fcked with me has it had many parallels with my life and friends. I couldn't get it out of my mind and asked my friends about it and like no one knew about it, until I asked a newer friend who was one of my best friends closest buddies and had an almost identical personality to mine. He immediately got excited and said "Yeah!.. Its one of those weird movies they only play at like 3am and no one ever sees or knows about! It was fcked up and amazing!.." I felt so relieved I finally found someone who knew what I was talking about and felt the same way.

I thought the acting was great for the movie and its purpose. Jamie did a fantastic job playing Dean. He is supposed to seem the most human out of everyone there and I think the producers/director/actors nailed their parts respectively.

This was one of those weird fcked up and soul curshing movies they only played at like 3am in the morning on a tuesday on Starz or HBO and almost no one knew about.. I Remember watching it one night at like 16 when i couldn't sleep on a school night, I could not stop thinking about it for months and still think about it randomly like 15 years later...

i knew this song before my best friend deleted himself from life. I cant help but listen and watch this every once n awhile. it hurts but it also lets me connect with him. Its horrible. life is life just dont give up

This song always hit home for me. How I've felt, been feeling off and on for years. Since I saw this film as a teenager it always spoke volumes of different messages to me but it helps me to hear it from time to time and although it is visceral, I've lost friends to similar ends and I really just have been in his shoes and still feel there. Just keeping pushing forward despite every voice of doubt inside yourself wearing at you. It's tough and I still can't get it quite right. I'm back here because I just had my own mental breakdown and it came on like a storm I couldn't even hope to weather without hours of tears and hopelessness. My heart or what's left, goes out to all the other chumscrubbers out there. ✊🏼
i could watch this movie on forever, my sons got to see this film and they loved it, they made their friends to watch it... this movie is so underated, its too good

Interesting movie. I lost a friend the same way around the same time I first saw this movie. We were teens as well and I was haunted for a long time. I had repetitive nightmares about his death until one night I dreamt I was at his funeral. I saw him in his coffin and put roses on it.
As I walked away he came alive and threw the roses at me and told me he didn’t want them. From night on, no more nightmares. That was twenty years ago and I still cry every once in a while. Gotta move on by learning but never forget.
