I’m not a doctor, but as far as I’m aware the modern medicine doesn’t know how to reverse an autoimmune disease. Phil might be in remission, but he’s definitely not healed from IBD.
If followed program removes all symptoms than it is cured , viewing the immune system as an incurable system is the error the medical community makes. Environmental and lifestyle , sleep, diet habits are the cause of the immune dysfunction. The immune system is not broken the life habits of people with IBD are not compatible with their biology.
Modern medicine doesn’t even attempt to address root causes or look at your digestion as a whole to identify weaknesses or contributing factors. They are attempting to manage symptoms with drugs. I know this firsthand because that is my actual experience with IBD and my doctors. This doctor is at least taking a different approach.
I am a patient with IBD medication free for 7 years because of lifestyle and diet. You do not know everything about this disease. There are many peop;le who live symptom free
