Okay... I am a little high on coffee right now but I just wanna say you really are an inspiration man. The best producer on this thing I've seen and heard and then you release that pay what you can drum kit?? Truly made my day.
Wow thank you for the kind words! Inspiring others is all I can hope for. I’m glad it does that for you. I’m a big proponent of sharing knowledge and resources. The game is to be told not sold!

Appreciate it! I’ve compiled them over the years from various drum kits and sampling. I’m working on a website now to release a drum kit for pay what you want. I’ll keep you posted!
Understandable. You can never go wrong with an MPC. The KO II’s got its quirks and limitations. Some would even say it can’t be used to create a full, quality song. Though that’s debatable and subject to personal taste. What specifically don’t you like about it?
@@louiewithapen i just know i can do more w the MPC so might as well get that upgrade. i do enjoy my KO2 and have made some bangers but it has some redundant workflo , mainly not having a visable screen for chopping. you made a banger with it tho so i know its more than enough. also tracking it out in a DAW is just an extra step i can eliminate w the MPC.
Quick question : 1. Is KO a Control board for my PC ? or controlling tracks/samples from my PC ? ( the comment about a full quality song had me a bit confused ). or is it internal memory ( 64MB I read ) ? Track sounds really good !
@jonphillips1638 it's a standalone controller, there is an app for pc, but it'd only to manage samples / banks for drums. One shots or loops. You can also trim the sample on the app. That's it tho. Everything else is done on the device. The memory is 64mb so it is limited in terms of loops/samples. But most will fit. As in full song. There is no song mode.
Sick beat, almost sounds as if you are getting some sidechain compression when the kick hits. Do you mind explaining how you're doing that? Is it a simple matter of sending the kick to the CMP effect?
@@joeltorres5549 I plan on releasing a pay what you want drum kit soon. It’ll be a collection of drums I’ve sampled and collected over the years and use in all of my KO II videos!
Not that I’m aware of. The pads are velocity sensitive so it’s just dependent on how hard you press them. It’s difficult to control. Also, the pads respond differently depending on if you press them from the bottom or top, left or right.
bro I'm begging you to do a tutorial/show us the process of putting a beat together on this thing, you are easily the best producer with it in my eyes
Thank you! it’s in the works! Just trying to figure out my camera and mic setup
I second this!!!!!👾
Specifically your Vox integration/processing method!!
@@isaacnamias2655 I’ll drop the tutorial this weekend and cover all of that!

I had yet to see someone make something listenable with the K.O until now. Dope.
Thank you! 🙌
Super fire man!!!
Appreciate you!!
Dilla would be proud!
I’m humbled 🙌🙏
🔥🔥🔥that compression tho!
The compressor on the EP is easily my favorite out of any sampler I’ve used!
@@louiewithapen yeah it’s dope. I finally got my hands on one! Been having a lot of fun with it. You use the cmp fix or the master compressor?

Dude. Seriously dope track. You've got a new fan. Learning to make beats with my KOII. This shit is inspiring.
Thank you! I appreciate you tuning in. Enjoy your KO II! It’s my favorite sampler now

Hardest beat I heard on that thing fire
Appreciate it! 🙏
Sick track! TE has quite the reputation because I expected this thing to cost well over $2000. Shocked to see it is well under $500.
Thanks! Yea I was surprised at the price point too. Especially for all of the features packed in it. Well worth the cost
Wow such a nice track, congrats bro.

Thanks! I crank up my kick drums and send the entire drum group to the CMP, causing the sample to duck

Is there any way to reduce the depth of punch-in filter effects on the EP133?
