Wakehurst parkrun is a new course set up in April 2024.
The course is 2 laps around Wakehurst Place and botanical gardens with the entire route being on tarmac paths.
The car park is a 5 minutes walk to the start/finish, which also has toilets close by. Parking is free so long as you have left the car park by 11am.
Thanks to all the amazing volunteers who made this weeks event possible!

Some hints and tips, it is a free ticket entry car park up till 11am and takes your number plate and prints on the ticket, you will queue to get into the car park so factor that in. The start of the run is quite narrow but once passed that the course opens up nicely. It’s a 2 lap course and has some lovely down hill sections but like anything in life you have a couple of short sharp cheeky hills to deal with. Hope you enjoy my local parkrun aa much as I do.
