First and foremost, thank you for your service! Second, i sent the link to this video to friends of mine who served in Afghanistan, and they laughed until they cried. PTSD is brutal, and I'm glad yall can find some humor in things! Laughter is the best medicine.

The thing that makes your videos so amusing is that you’ll make fun of little things the rest of us don’t recognize. “Somewhere in Vietnam a bunch of guys are wearing the same uniform.” That’s only funny because you pointed it out haha. Best channel of CZcams.

The subtitles are wrong. Why the hell do you think that automatic subtitles on a youtube video are accurate? No. He said "Lost". He referenced the TV show. More specifically, making fun of the ending. Dude, CZcams subtitles are just automatically trying to use voice recognition software to GUESS what's being said. It's a computer error. Trust me. He was talking about the show.
Whats going on with the grenades? Got a legit laugh.
My thought about the ending is this:
The flashbacks scenes happened the way they were shown, with MacGregor alive. The entire movie happens, and the dreams of Vietnam were teleporting them back to Vietnam somehow. I picture the very end of the movie like this. It could be that Trent died in the attack, when they teleported back and the end with him in the past is wish fulfillment to what he wanted to do to MacGregor. The end could signify him moving on to the afterlife. That's just my take. It could also be similar to your idea where the initial flashbacks happened, and then MacGregor is really like a Freddy Krueger where he haunts their dreams, and Trent killed him in Vietnam but it wasn't shown. The end is then like what I said with Trent dying and him killing MacGregor before he becomes a mercenary is wish fulfillment and then him moving on to the afterlife.
How this channel doesn't have a MINIMUM of 250k subs is beyond me.

@@FredGee420 to be fair the military would still spend $500,000 for a bulletproof vest even if it was still made of wicker. The US Army probably spends more for a toilet than the PRC spends on a tank
I was predicting that the end would be "Oh it was just a dream". But it is nice that they put a little twist on it.
The scene of the two guys lying in bed and shooting M16s made gave me the best laugh I've had in ages.

This is actually a really damn cool idea.
With some edits to the story it could make an excellent movie, have the plot be some dodgy time travel stuff where people in Vietnam(or any war really) decide it would be a good idea to summon people who survive it back to the past in order to have a more secure victory, since people who survived are not only experienced combatants but they would also have key information on what won the war. Imagine you could have Hitler killed before the world knew how big a problem he'd be.
That's an interesting idea.
The whole sleep thing is kinda odd, I guess it'd have to be some weird magical shit, maybe they could use voodoo to cast the souls of future people in to the dead bodies of soldiers in the war? Makes a bit more sense.
All in all it'd be a cool action/mindfuckery flick that could have some good PTSD messages in it, how a person never really leaves war behind.
If this had been made just a little better and more like "Dreamscape" than "...Elm St.", it might have been pretty brutally intense and good. That scene with them in bed asleep and firing the assault rifles. 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆 Oh. Dreamscape was mentioned. Actually, it's like a wopped "Jacob's Ladder".

Jokes aside. A expendables sized cast made up of most of the brilliant b movie actors, would have been pretty epic, even if it turned out lousy just getting to see the actors working together could be worth the watch for most

Oh man, I saw this when I was a kid on daytime TV. I didn't understand that it was just a sort of alternate reality B movie so I felt really sad when they didn't rescue their friend at first.
