I have watched many episodes which you uploaded earlier and found very informative and amazing as we have very less knowledge about ship and its staffs. Ship environment normally is very tough and everybody can't bear this environment due to home sickness and living in sea without land. However, salary package is good as compare to other field due to tough condition. Can you clarify following points for understanding: 1-what was the longest route which you travelled? 2- what is rota system in ship? For example 2 months working and 2 month off. And leaves with paid or without. 3-Average retirement age. 4- in case of emergency or viral infection/disease, doctor and health staff are available or not. Thanks

They used a hand lead line. Capt Zahid may be able to give you a better explanation. We used to do it in the 70s.
