99% of Betfair traders build a better strategy with this stat

- If you are struggling to read a football match you are trading, this is for you.
Reading football matches is hard. I want to make it a bit easier for you.
Look at the first scored goals stat and compare it to the first goal conceded stat of the team they are playing.
This will tell you which team is likely to score and concede first.
Now you have a guide to look at when watching the match.
If a team has a high history of scoring first:
They’ll attack well and fast
They’ll attack with confidence
They’ll be slick
Etc…
You can then look at the team that has a high history of conceding first:
They’ll not defend great
Make a lot of errors
It’s a great pointer to look out for when researching your trades, 99% of traders I speak with start finding better football trades when they use this stat.

Good info my man, but don’t forget that new season and new coach changing the game. So is a halftime break where the manager has the opportunity to talk to the players 1 on 1 and change how the game is playing out in the 2nd half. Historical data is good to have some idea, but for being really profitable and be in the 1% rather than in the 99%, you need to see the mentality the players have when they step on the pitch. Live stats and especially xG are the best indicators of what is actually happening in the current game! Laying the draw in 1st half isn’t that profitable, early goal for underdog will actually put you on a red screen which can be a put off for many beginners. I never lay the draw before it reaches price below 2.00 late in the game (looking at in game stats) as it provides a juicy green even if underdog scores 🙌
@@heavenshallburnnoobslife4576 I agree 100%, so many things go into picking the right match this is just one of the stats that make up the whole view of a match.
Trying to share more information around stats and individual ones so people can get a picture of them all and start to put them together to be able to be better traders.
How long have you been using xG?
For me it’s always been about using pre match stats to reduce the amount of games you are looking at that day, there’s so many games using the stats reduces the amount of games. You then create a hypothesis around that match and then use the in play stats and what your eyes are seeing to see if that hypothesis is correct.
