A lot, if not most of the time, runway shows don’t pay, esp really high end (Saint Laurent, Fendi, Chanel, a mil others). These shows are considered like an honor to walk in. In turn, shows give exposure for these models to then book shoots & ad campaigns ($), which then, hopefully, open the doors to high contracts w/ makeup/fragrance/beauty brands ($$$)
Sora has this sleepy fierce look and it makes it so enjoyable to watch her walk the runway. I love her face and everything about her

They won't be a model if they follow those K beauty standards. No one would book them if they have those generic faces, I'm not saying K Beauty standards are not beautiful but we all know some of them done something to their faces and cute, youthful faces is not a high fashion look.

It's the one most designer wants these days. They even instructed the girls at Louis Vuitton to have a fast-paced boyish walk.

@@maiavitale8458 Those girls aren't top walkers anymore though. Yasmin walked 10 shows this season while Imaan walked only four shows. Some brands like Moschino and Versace still appreciates the sexy walk, but a good number of the most prestigious ones like Calvin Klein, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Gucci etc. do prefer boyish runway walks. While there are also brands like Chanel which is somewhere in the middle.
Kaia Gerber would had been a better example because she still has old school walk but the thing about her is that she can tone her strut for some brands like CK or Prada.
Boyish walks. Boyish girls. It's as if "male" designers are afraid of women. period. Don't look like a woman and don't walk like a woman. Have no breast, hips, thighs and make damn sure you don't have a feminine walk!
