    This is great video and inspirational! Especially for old graduates such as me and importance of step 3, peer group and PS is very well highlighted.

    She is misguiding, applicants by on some points. Being a 2016 yog doesn't put you old applicant. If so why would she receive 25 interviews? She has home country residency. Let me be clear on this, having this on your cv really boosts your chances of matching and not the other way around. I see older graduates with home country residency in other fields than internal medicine and people end up matching over the new graduates even though their scores are less compared to new graduates.

    Firstly my hearty congratulations. You have not covered which university/hospital you got residency admission and you have not told how much score you got in step 1and step 2. Wish you all the best in Ur career.

      @@usmlesarthi2024 Hello Dr, I wonder what score you would consider good? I am also IMG with long YOG and just took step 1 at the end of June. I aimed at 250 but ended up scoring 244. Really not sure if it would be a good score for matching though. Thanks!

    I think I got the whole process wrong . I have completed step1 ,step2 and OET, do I need ecfmg certification before applying for residencies?

    • @usmlesarthi2024
      @usmlesarthi2024  Před 2 lety +1

      It is preferable to get certified before applying, but it is not a deal breaker if you apply without ECFMG certification. Applying on time (Day 1) is more important
