One thing i noticed about the whole "A" sound scheme towards the end of the song, he started with the long A sound.
When his schemes had the long A sound, the words or syllables were longer. Like "let me know what you get when you pull the DNA from me".
Then he immediately switched to the short A sound in his schemes.
"No matches I've been the baddest, no way to match it, you've never seen a passion that's even half this".
He went from longer verses to shorter verses coinciding with the long A, short A scheme.

I feel like this song is a miniature model of his career. Starts off slow and a little choppy but with potential. Then by the end that potential is realized and it just BURNS. Such a banger.

I think the diamonds line isn't about the multiple platinum thing... I think he sais, that his songs are diamonds (the highest quality shit out there), because the songs are made under pressure, because the fans always wants more even tough he dropped a new song a few days ago (which is a line in another song too, but I don't know in which right now), just like diamonds, which are produced under very high pressure

I got to go to one of his Perception concerts and the hype in the crowd during the chorus of Destiny was insane. We were in the upstairs of the venue and I thought for sure that the floor was gonna fall down with everyone jumping around!
I don't know exactly how many times I've heard this song, but hearing your reaction feels like I'm listening to it for the first time, AND that's why I love your channel. Reasons like this and so many others are why your reactions stand far above any other reactions I've ever seen. I really enjoy when you talk about the production of the song , like the beat and the 808's and the snares and the choir, and how you break down the bars on more than a surface level, like rhyme scheme, syllable schemes, and inflection. You open my eyes to things in a song that I've heard a countless number of times! I also like how your not afraid to pause it and break down everything you hear, and you're honest when a bar doesn't hold up. I always thought that birthday and surprises bar didn't really fit in lol. I appreciate that you're holding back on the cursing too haha.

I reckon the "I'm full of surprises" line keeps going from the birthday line before it, because there are lots of surprises at birthdays. It starts a new rhyme scheme as well which is sick. Rhyming: surprise, diamonds, define this, finest, try it. Maybe, I dunno.

The “Run my name through the dirt, that’s fine I was made from it” line has even more meaning than you might think. Yes, NF came from the bottom not having much growing up. But NF is also a Christian, and scripture says that man was literally made from dust (or dirt) because God breathed life into it.

This song is one of my favorites from perception. The line “run my name through the dirt. That’s fine cause I was was made from it” could be because of his faith. In the Bible man was made from dirt in Genesis. NF is the real deal. Keep doing your thing bro!!!
