Good evening dear Ana 🌹🌼🌺 I wish you feel better soon and also happy about your so sweet and lovely still life painting 😍it's a pleasure to see your process and listen to your advices..always helpful 🙏 I use to paint with acrylic painting..feel more confortable with 😅 but have tried with oil mixable with water..it gives great results too..the colors are more lightful than acrylic🤩 just need pratice again and again...☺ For some artists who use acrylic..there is a good medium wich helps to slow dry..it's Liquitex "slow dry medium"..if someone needs..😉 I wish you dear Ana to keep on creating and sharing..you are inspirating for us 💖 take good care..bisous and caresses to your little birds🐥🐦😘

The little accordion screen background behind the still life was a great idea! It set up a bunch of color relationships where the foreground objects overlap the background, and gave a subtle moodiness to the overall composition. Very nice!

Its eally good to do an occasional still life painting as this helps one to hone ones skill and learn to keep the composition tight. I Love Your Style of Painting. I was taught for oil painting to paint darks than lights. But you didn’t and it still worked. It is a beautiful piece. Watercolors are fun. I have started a journal of watercolor sketches to help me get used to the medium. I am really enjoying it. Hope you are feeling better!
