Men’s smoke dance, Tuscarora powwow 2023

Haudenosaunee contemporary Smoke dance, these songs and dances derived from the old style war dance. In no way are these songs ceremonial or used in ceremonies. These songs and dances were created by various artist and performed at showcases all around turtle island. And now both men and women compete at gatherings where each dancers can showcase their own style and footwork.
