I remember my first thanksgiving without my dad in 2009. I was in tears and just felt so sad without him not eating the turkey, drinking a beer with my grandpa, hearing them watch the football game and falling asleep on the couch a few minutes later.😢😢😢
When I was watching the episode of Paul’s death up until this one, I cried every episode, only due to the fact that this family reminds me a lot like mine…I have 2 older sisters, and then there’s me, the boy. Every time I watch one of these scenes dealing with pauls death, I just couldn’t help but think of when my father or mother will pass. I looked in the mirror and I haven’t teared up that bad in years. Bless and love your parents everyone ❤️❤️❤️❤️
If John Ritter were alive, the show would have been a hit and would have a lengthy run. It is similar to when the Chief from Gimme a Break passed away and the show was never the same due to Cosbymania.
So true! The season when the Chief (Dolph Sweet) passed away was good, not great but good. The 6th and final season was horrible!! It was like a whole different show. If Dolph Sweet had lived, the show would've lasted longer.

That is a feeling like no other. That first Christmas without grandma and mom. Looking at those seats that were empty was devastating. Cried harder at Christmas than i did at the funeral.
This scene wasn't just the family missing Paul it was the cast missing John.
