This is the kind of prank where the real joke is on you for spending so much time to put it together when meanwhile the person you are pranking most likely won't care much, then you are the one that has to end up picking up all the pieces.

I did this to my cube, just had it on my desk knowing one day a friend would try to pick it up. That happened today. 2 years after i had set it up. For a moment i was as shocked as he was :P WORTH IT.

where did you get the cube with raised pieces? im tired of replacing stickers for my 4 year old 3x3.
@rcnrcn927 it looks like a center to which the cap fell off when after he picked up and dropped the pieces.
@rcnrcn927 I lubed it with vaseline (back before I knew what vaseline does to the cube) and then it just got waaaaaay too loose. You couldn't turn it 90 degrees without it locking up!

When my friend showed me this video ( without looking at the total) I knew before that the core was gone. If you look at the white column in the intro the white centers are slightly out of place leading to my ocd which I knew right away

That would be an awesome bar trick. Just build so it just would need one single turn to solve it, and say that he/she gets 50 bucks when he/she can solve it in 2 minutes. You get 50 bucks if they are incapable. Enough booze and greed will get you easy 50 bucks xD.
