The reason he is called god of death is mainly bc the freedom of life is death. He isn’t like dark or shi, it’s more like he leads ppl into the afterlife. As shown in one the cutscenes where he brings back that one friend or smth as an ‘illusion’ idk how to explain, he basically brought back the spirit and sent it back to the afterlife.
