- Ep#20 of Forts of India: Purana Quila is located in Delhi. Purana Quila, Urdu for Old Fort also formerly called Shergarh & Sher Fort is one of the oldest forts in Delhi, India. The site has been continuously inhabited for 2,500 years and remains dating from the pre-Mauryan period have been found.

Yesterday after visiting purana qila, I ended up with this video on the old fort...I wish there were more studies/excavation and it would get people more interested in archeology... through museum I got to know about PGW...it dates back to 1000 BC...history is more enchanting than the super heros comics...kids should be encouraged to go the ruined forts than marvel comics...
Because of some so called Couples you can’t bring your kids there as we have asked questions by our kids …. Mummy dekhna ☹️ hme hi bccho ko bolna pdaa beta waha nhi dekhna h 🤐

Qila e kona Masque me jo word kona hai..... Iske baare me videi me bataya gaya ki "this suits its name as it is built in the corner of the fort" lekin ye ghalat baat hai qki wo word kona nahi balki kohna hai jo ki ek persian word hai. Jiska matlab purana yani old hota hai.
Qila e kohna mosque yaani purane qile ki masjid.
Aap log ye kyu bhool jaate hain ki wo log Persian language me baat karte the aur Persian language me kona jaisa koi word nahi hai.
Us masjid ka corner me banaya jana sirf ek ittefaq hai.

whenever i being a history buff visit any historical site i always come back unsatisfied and rather frustrated by the fact that INDIA lost its self glory of great hindu or other non invader kings and the symbols and architecture makes no sense to me.Also somewhere in one corner when i see any hindu symbol or broken and trampled often smeared or graffitized pieces of wall i feel sorry for them who built it.We always been distinct and indifferent to each other made our own history to be wiped and smeared with tyrant AKBAR the great.They all tried to impose their religion on us but KUDOS to us we still stand as what we were.

Don't call yourself a history buff then buddy.If you really like history you would understand at the end of the day ,this history is ours ,it all happened on our land we all should be proud.Why can't we just look at history the way it is without our biases , if at one point Aurangzeb accounted for 25% of the world GDP it's a fact we should say that's great.
the grand trunk road is from Peshawar to Kolkata not Patna
D3ip Daey the grand trunk road was first built by sher shah suri was till patna, later the british modified the road and named it the grand trunk road and made it all the way to kolkata, but the initial road built by sher shah was till patna

There are no evidence that Siri fort in Delhi was built by allauddin Khilji except few madarsa maulvis mentioned that in their books. However himself allauddin Khilji lived and ruled his kingdom through lahore in pakistan. And he defended his that capital from Mongolian army there not in delhi. Mongolian army never crossed Sind river.

Indraprasth is mythological place it doesn't hav any relation with reality..Even digging all parts of purana qila archeologists did not find anything satisfactory to justify this myth.
So the kings lived with the big walls of the forts and their people outside it open to all kinds of dangers and invasions. Selfish....
False history written by islamic historians. All these forts were primarily much ancient Indian structures.
This was built by Rajput rulers ,but the history of Mughals making forts is all lie and before rajputs there were Pandavas and all old sites...
