For me, the Afterneath and Palisade from EQD makes for an amazing Slowdive-style distortion/reverb swell with a humbucker. When split coil (or just picked softer), it makes for a great ambience with both on or just the reverb on. That's my choice pedal anyways

I've looked at a lot of multi effect reverbs and although some sound good, none blew me away with what I wanted: Simple yet effective classic tones, with phenomenal quality sound and build. I came across the keeley omni, it's plate is incredible its spring is very good and it's room function is also really solid. I think for it's price it's the ticket for me... Might also be for some others too. Cheers

During the heyday of proguitarshop, my mother eventually got me the TC electronic Trinity reverb for Christmas during its second initial sale, (I was in high school at the time). I have owned it ever since, and I tend to use the ethereal one setting in light reverb applications where I use a decently long decay for about a second, turn the tone knob where I want it, and I turn down the mix so it’s not overpowering my signal. I sometimes use the plate setting, and occasionally the ethereal to for the helicopter sounds. Mostly it’s the legend of the ethereal one, and the typical setting that I use.

Reverb’s in live band situations require totally different setups and settings. They are fun when your in you basement but you can be lost in the mix in live situations. Sometimes the room you are gigging in requires that there is no reverb. A lot of players just do not get this.
Any Lexicon algorithm does it or me. In pedal or rack. Strymon is pretty close. Really like the newer SLO pedal.
It works as a lush chorus or nice basic but full reverb with great tails. Took all my other verbs off the board.

I produce music sometimes and play guitar the rest of the time, and this is 100% correct. When I’m playing alone, I’ll have the reverb set to 50%. When mixing a band, 15% is SERIOUSLY pushing it.

Main board reverb: Chase Bliss Dark World. Walks the line between "mega do it all" and "freaky ambient" and "multi-mode." Per Midi preset patch I have some of everything.
Medium board reverb: Walrus Slö. It's big and ambient when set "normally," but you can easily dial things back to make it a subtle, always-on plate sound with a little modulation to taste (I use the Dark mode but remove the suboctave).
Nano Plus board: EQD Avalanche Run. I love the Dispatch Master and have used it for years, so this seems like the next step. (It arrives in the mail tomorrow!)
Nano board reverb: crap, I don't have reverb on my nano board. Just delay, and hope that I'm playing into an amp with a spring tank. (Or playing in a big echoey hall anyway... after all, the space you're in is literally its own reverb!). I guess if I'm being nitpicky there is a reverb setting on my Grand Canyon delay/looper, but I usually prefer to use a delay mode instead.

Oceans 11 and the RV-6 are the same price so it’s a flip of a coin, but the Oceans 11 has a tonne of options using the mode button. Reverb has always been my favourite effect so personally I’d be more inclined to stretch to the MXR M300 as the MXR pedals I have are absolutely amazing.
