@@XiaoQiDrama The whole series was breathtaking and was able to keep your attention, actually because of recent events I was able to watch it in 10 days!! Aside from Charmaine Sheh, Maolei Wang was also outstanding, he owned that character and me despise his character Yuan Chunwang very much. Great cast, great story, it's rare in the world to see such a production! I had watched the South Korean series 'Dong Yi' prior to this ( another outstanding show) and realised her story had similarities to Consort Ling. Both from low backgrounds one entered the Palace to find who was responsible for Father and brothers death compared to a Sisters death, both became Ist class consorts, both had sons that became King and Emperor respectively and Dong Yi's son was King at the same time as the emperor historically. Interesting don't you think 🙂
