✅How to Turn Off the PCS Pre-Collision Pre-Collision Assist Light on a Lexus RC or RCF

Today I show you how to turn off your PCS pre collision system light. I found the light on after I had my vehicle serviced at the dealership. Most time the PCS can be turn off on the screen in the settings area. If you can't find the PCS setting in the speedometer cluster then there is most likely a physical button you have to push to turn on or off the PCS light.

The PCS light is the inverse of what most think. When the light is on the Pre-collision system is actually disabled/OFF. When the light is not displaying it is actually ON/Active. If the light flashes quickly and disappears then the system is operating properly.
The dealership forgot to enable it by turn the light off. They turned the light on to disable the system while performing maintenance on the radar in the bumper.

The PCS can mistakenly think the moving car perpendicular to you is a hazard, slams the brake for you and then takes around 2 seconds to acknowledge your throttle input. I was nearly got rear-ended due to this. Can't wait to turn it off.

Thanks for the explanation! I went for a tire swap and when I got the car back the PCS light was on. I've never seen that before so I asked them and they said they never touched anything and that the PCS light wasn't on when the car came in... felt like I was crazy but this confirms my suspicion that they must have accidentally turned it off some how. Either they wanted to move the wheel up and accidentally pressed it instead of the lever or I accidentally did it but can't see how. Anyway, going to go press the button again so it turns off... appreciate the explanation!
