I had 2 instances where I thought I had COVID, last year June, it was swine flu.. This year June as well lol I thought I had C and it was avian flu! I had C in January 2 years ago and had an order for 25 project bags and had a deadline when I thought I was dying lol So it was along the lines of, cutting out patterns, lay down, sewing, lay down, pressing the bags, lay down. Truly and utterly horrible. 25 bags for £125 for a yarny friend was daylight robbery lol but I got it done!

Today is my mom's 73 birthday. She is still fighting her way back from complete paralysis (the week before Mother's Day this year) due to Guillain-Barre syndrome. She is still on a ventilator and feeding tube, but is improving a little every week. I don't live near the hospital she is in, but I try to visit as much as possible. Last time I was with her I got to see her smile for the first time since GBS took nearly everything from her. It was the most beautiful smile I have ever seen.
I know you have gone through things far more difficult, but I feel like I understand your pain a bit more.

Everything you’ve said on this episode resonated with me about your loss. My Mum died in April after a 9 year battle with Alzheimer’s Dementia/Parkinson’s. She also loved a glass of rosė Zinfandel xx so sad I missed your update xx I wish you peaceful happy and restful times ahead xx

I can totally relate about having your lucky number being '3' and believe the same theory of 33rd year being a lucky year.(All good things comes in 3s, as depicted in fairy tales) I am also born on the 3rd as well but in May). When I turned 33, it was the tail end of the COVID-19 Pandemic. So that was fairly positive. According to the WHO states that it lasted from (end of 2019-January 2020 - 5 May 2023 so 3 years, 3 months and 5 days). So take advantage of your 33rd year, I found it eye-opening and by the end of mine it was definitely lucky because I found love in myself and a (hopefully) life partner.

I'm hoping you have a great success with this sale. Unfortunately for me it hits on the week my bills are due. I do plan to purchase some yarn in the near future. I'm a firm believer in supporting small business instead of big box stores. I try my best to support as many as possible. I wish I could get anti-pilling acrylic from a small business but haven't found one. I like using it for blankets for kids and to make dog & cat rugs. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Only he's just turned 5 😅 grief is a tricky one, I'm 17 years down the line from my grandmother's death, she basically raised me, and I still get hit with grief to the point I can't breathe. But it comes less often. Also rest man! You clearly need it, man flu demands it. Wishing you all the time for cozy, crappy hallmark style Christmas movies and mindless knitting in your near future.

I don't think I noticed my feet grew until after 2-3 years of being on T. It wasn't enough for me to notice much with socks unless they were on the tight side to start, but it was just enough to bump me up a shoe size. Very inconvenient but your socks will probably be fine!

I can absolutely relate to the exhaustion! Currently signed off work with autistic burn out and annoyed at myself for “failing at adulting (yet again)”. It’s so hard to not compare yourself to others. But you’re doing great- be kind to yourself (lol look at me giving advice I ignore). We’re all rooting for you ❤

Jude in case you need to hear it, you've been through an incredible amount of big hard things in the last few years. I love the vision board idea, and you know you can both BE that hunky guy in the woods AND marry one! I remember we once had a conversation somewhere on social about the Salt and Timber book. Be sure to put those photos on the board! And if you need more woods, America certainly has plenty to share!
So sad I can't take part in this update :( I am not allowed to buy yarn or any fun stuff until I replace my broken oven. Being an adult sucks sometimes.

Happy Birthday! My granddaughter's birthday is also on the 3rd. A day for special people to be born. She turned 25. Here's a little something for your pinterest vision board, "Your nose and your feet never stop growing." Fun fact, huh? I started out adulthood wearing a size 8, after first pregnancy 8 1/2, after 2nd pregnancy,, 9. After menopause 10!!!! So there you go. The hubs has also gone up one shoe size over the years so I guess it's universally true. It's hard to do, but take care of yourself. I'm sure everyone will understand if the yarn gets shipped out a little late. Your health is more important. Hope your birthday sale is a smashing success!!!

As a med professional I can say thet YES, testosterone makes you more vulnerable to infectious diseases, so you are definitely eligible to catch man-flu. Congratulations.
As a cis-woman I can say that I don't need testosterone to face a cold like a man... which means I lie down, whimper and feel like dying the moment my temperature rises above 37.4 Celsius degrees :D
