@@user-qu5tj2tx4s You have no clue what you’re talking about with your loser mentality. Before Wenger Arsenal were the second most successful club in England. Contrary to popular opinion, we played good football under Graham. Wenger was great for us until 2004. After that he should’ve been sacked earlier. Great managers always know when to leave - Ferguson, Klopp etc all knew when to call time but not Wenger. Tactically he was hopeless and way behind the modern game. Is it any coincidence that we’re challenging for titles again after he left? Football is about winning, not sentiments.

He wanted to leave after David Dein was sacked, but was convinced to stay because the loans to build the Emirates were, in part, contingent on him staying on as manager. Wenger continued to sacrifice himself and his career for a club knowing that the financial restraints that were going to be imposed on him would make it next to impossible to win the league. Still, we finished in the top 4 every season aside from his final two. So, there's a reason why he is cast in bronze outside of the Emirates. He deserves it.

Where you have it wrong is when you thought comparing Wenger to Arteta. Arsenal FC today wouldn't have existed had it not been for Arsene. Arsene sacrificed his managerial career elsewhere for this club and left a platform where successors after him would take over and triumph. Wenger never had the privilege Emery and Arteta had. I watch back games of Wenger era and still can't believe how we lacked trophies then. Beautiful teams, unbelievable performances and players.
