He is amazing. I think a lot of the mistakes where due to user error. Not meant to be rude. We all make mistakes.
I really like him. I've used a lot of RCB's and he felt clear of say WW Yashin as a pure defender coupled with really nice passing.

On paper he looks like the best CB in the game right now. Shadow suits him perfect too. He could be generic since its his first banging year, i'll try him first time soon

I also packed him and I must agree with you. There’s something odd about him. I think is the fact he’s missing at least silver anticipate. My 92 Nesta is felt more on the pitch, winning more balls on standing tackles and intercepting passes. I will keep him to see if the upgrades make him better but otherwise fodder for Ferdinand!
Glad it’s not just me and I’m not going crazy 😂 I think anticipate makes a massive difference! Yeah definitely worth waiting for upgrades, but Ferdinand is clear! 👊🏽
Perhaps you are used to the anticipate. Play him in a 3 back and watch the magic happen paired with another CB that has anticipate and you have the perfect setup in the back. He is meant to play on the right in a 3 back.
I think it is that tbh. I've been using Saliba, Rio and Buongiorno for ages who all have anticipate+! Maybe I need to adjust! Will keep trying him 👌🏽
@@robswrld5527 I mean, I don’t think he’s useless at all. He’s ver fast and strong, and on the air almost unbeatable, but there are just some balls you expect him to do more that leave you wanting
@@jonathanjuha2329 are you using advanced defending? He's got bruiser so often you can just brush up against and yeet them with shoulder barge and he just steps onto the ball.
I think the height just makes him clunky. Idk. Still enjoying him.

I think his hype stems from just having 3 playstyles and his size. I've seen multiple people call him German VVD. I don't have him so I can't speak from my own experience using him and I've yet to come up against anyone with him. But watching your gameplay and other people gameplay, he just seems like an average April CB but those upgrades from the evo and live objective could change that. So the hype can also be what people expect his end result to be not what he is rn.
Yeah, that's fair I think bro. He is massive and his stats are crazy which definitely add to the hype, also a live card. VVD has crazy animations and anticipate, which is what separates him from this card IMO!
Why don't you have a total score at the end these days?
It adds a little time to put that together! I think the main thing is if the player is worth the price, and their pros and cons - and I still try to cover all of that! Will think how to make things better. Thanks for the comment 🙏🏽
