Excellent video 👍👍. I also have been using a GoPro for vlogging and will continue to do so. I do similar things, like kayaking and hiking, etc. The GoPro is very convenient and lightweight. It’s easy to just throw it in any backpack and go on an adventure. But, i’m thinking about buying the pocket 3 as a backup. Or for situations that don’t involve water.

Pocket 3 is great for low light, indoors, motion timelapses, if you need a blured backfround. But you could also just get a gimbal for your phone for most of those things (except low light) that would be much cheaper solution.

My last video I just shot is on the ace pro. Posted it this morning. It’s the same as the GoPros to me.
Just watched your video. It was hard to fully appreciate what the Ace Pro can do in terms of quality because of the 1080 upload - it looked very compressed with big blocky squares.
@@RAIVIS.you tube often plays at less than 1080p I have play it on 55 inche tv but I always make sure my CZcams settings is 1080p not sure why CZcams does that.
@@RAIVIS.you have to change the settings for every new video you watch unfortunately even on a tv app

@@RAIVIS.I agree but the reason I don’t is the vast majority of CZcams videos are watched on phones which is impossible to tell the difference
I would turn off the face tracking on the P3 when walking and vlogging. Its super tiring to watch the footage cause the p3 is constantly moving from left to right
Thanks! I agree it tends to overdo it. Mine is already set to slowest gimbal speed but I wish it could go even smoother. Hopefully that is something that they will fix with a firmware update.
But other than that do you prefer P3 look over the GoPro for vlogging?
@@RAIVIS. For sure! I've got both of them and as to be expected, the P3 destroys the gopro in terms of quality (minus the left/right swinging).
One thing I've been wishing for a long time with the P3 is ability to change the sensitivity of the face tracking, which would also fix this swinging motion. The face tracking is just too sensitive for my liking hence I don't use it at all basically
As we have similar experience with the face tracking, I imagine that we are not alone in this regard and I have heard similar complaints from others too, so fingers crossed for the firmware update.
Apart from low light performance what do you think is the second best strength of the P3 over the GoPro?

My Iphone likes taking video but I think that my phone is not enough for me so maybe I can buy one DJI Action 4 or DJI Pocket 3 , I think that it help me create better video. @@RAIVIS.

@@RAIVIS.ace pro has the best app. Its low light performance is similar to the pocket 3. Unlike the pocket 3 ace pro actually fits into your pocket. Removable batteries. Batteries last way longer than GoPro. I have a Hero 12 and Ace Pro. I don’t even use my GoPro anymore. I retuned my pocket 3. The field of you is much better on the Ace Pro compared to the pocket three also for vlogging you want infinite focus and not blurred background like the pocket III does. The Ace pro is easier to use than pocket three and you don’t get the unwanted movement of the gimbal that the pocket three always has.

Thank you for your detailed response. Very interesting. How is the minimum focus distance on Ace Pro? Have heard some negative feedback - that is why I dismissed it as a vlogging camera because if you hold it in your hand your face is not in the focus.
