My favorite dark brown lipsticks from the drugstore include: double espresso by Milani, coffee buzz by wet n wild, and opal by Iman. And I absolutely love #505 by make up forever (it’s a beautiful, dark liquid lipstick that’s easy to wear & poppin’ with gloss).

Sharon Newby I’m not Andrea Renee, but I’m 56 going on 57 next month in February, and I’m starting to get those little lines around my lips, especially the lower ones, and am starting to get the beginnings of crow’s feet in the corners of my eyes (as well as hooded eyes and creepy lids). I’ve always been a natural-look girl for my everyday makeup, but when I bellydance, I wear whatever the heck I want! 😁 That being said, yes, we older girls do need to be aware of what can draw attention to those problem areas we’re starting to get, but what’s so great about makeup formulas today is that there’s something for everyone out there. 💖💕💖💕 First of all, to combat all the texture that’s going on all over my face, I moisturize day and night, and use eyeshadow primer and a pore-filling primer before makeup. I’m still on the hunt for that perfect foundation--if you can find one that works perfect for you, then it will help the rest of the makeup look wonderful. If you like shimmers, there are eyeshadows and highlighters that have a good, creamy formula that doesn’t draw too much attention to skin texture and won’t send signals to Pluto. Also, good makeup tools and a light hand to start out with will keep makeup from looking overly-done--it’s easier to build up to the color you want than it is to start out heavy and having to take it all off to start over. Lastly, try getting color analyzed to find out what colors are flattering for your skin tone and hair color. If you can’t afford it, there are tutorials here on CZcams that talk about color analysis. Anyway, I hope that helps you. 💖💕

Processed foods are not only a beauty killer, they’re a life killer. They’re filled with empty calories that have no nutritional value, and all those toxic ingredients build up in the body and slowly poison you, as well as accelerate the aging process. Ditto with smoking, drinking, and drug abuse (not that you do such things, I figured I better throw those out there, too). Eating well, staying active, and living clean can not only prolong our lives, it can keep us looking younger longer. 💖💕💖💕
