Great video! Love it. You are right. Personal branding is super important. Speaking of Elon Musk. I used to really wanted to drive a Tesla, for the environment but with Elon Musk becoming such a polaring figure in politics I no longer Tesla as a desirable product. I am not the only one. Good example of how a personal brand can hurt your products. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Phillip! Thanks for the kind words. Listen, you are absolutely right! Someone's personal brand can seriously impact their product positively or negatively. Elon is a great example of that for all of us. The beautiful thing about our brand is that it is the one thing we have control over. We can make it work for us. We control our narrative!

elon musk destroyed 25 billion in value in just this year... i want products that work . i dont give a damn about sports team or save the whales. in other words your premise is wrong. As someone who was a high level corproate recruiter i would tell you if you dont change your hair you are virtually unemployable at a higher level . im sorry . :( You are very articulate and put together a good video otherwise.
First of all, Thanks for watching! Secondly, I understand that you may not fully agree with everything here and I'm ok with that. Although, I'm not fully following what you're saying but I'd like to say this. Elon Musk serves as an example of how anyone can positively and negatively impact their personal brand and business.
On top of that, remember, consumers have the power to choose the brands or leaders they want to buy from. But here's the kicker - there's a greater chance that a consumer will choose a company if its leader resonates with their values. Now, let's not mix things up, I'm all for grabbing something that does the job, no matter who's behind it. However, there's a growing trend where people aren't just after specs, they're after stories, meaning, and significance. That's the world we are in now.
Oh and the hair situation you've mentioned is a strong point and is definitely a great topic of discussion but not for this thread. Again, thanks for sharing 💪🏾
