- After having tested the Skinny Jenny V1 for a couple of weeks a d comparing it to a number of other brand name taped ballnose bits, I thought that the SJ was amazing...but Cody wanted to make it even better...and he did with his revised version!!!
Here is a carve in Walnut with the Skinny Jenny. It’s even more impressive with superior cut quality, strength and rigidity.

Great video Mitz! Thanks for all the info you put out.
Thanks Mitz for all your info!
Thanks Mitz...creative with the video too!
nice video! i like them bits.
Very Nice thanks for the tip
Good info
Looks great Mitz, are you using Vectric Aspire? I only have Vcarve pro but I'm really interested in doing similar projects
I’m using Carveco Maker however you can do 3d relief carving with VCarve Pro
Great video! I just ordered the full Jenny arsenal after some frustrating 3D carves with a Whiteside TBN bit that took hours and hours of sanding to get ready for finish. I see you listed 200 ipm as your feed rate, but could you list some more of your preferred specs for CAM? Spindle speed, stepover, etc. Thanks!!
Spindle speed 15000 rpm. Stepover 8% of bit dia.
Would this go into my library as a 1/8th ball nose? My order recently arrived thank you!
Here’s a good video by Leighton Carveco describing how to enter a tapered ballnose to your tool database.

Thanks for the info on bits. On the video, it looks like you have printed mounting arms for your dust collection. Could you share the model?
Hi Benoît, yes the mounting arms are from Greg Dimant at Route1WoodDesign. (Etsy)
@@onefinity-trainingtipswithMitz Thanks for the reply but I think it's another product.
I was referring to the mounting arm for the Suckit Dust. The arms that attach on the side of the router.
I had an incident when one of them hit a clamp.
It probably is not very hard to cut or print new ones. I was hoping to be able to re-use a model :)
Ah ok... the clear acrylic arms on either side of the router that the dust boot slides into with magnets? Those are the original arms that came with my Onefinity. I was order #10069 and that is what came with as part of the order. I’ve noticed that they have since switched to the 3d printed version (black). If this isn’t what you’re referring to, then message me and we can discuss further
@@onefinity-trainingtipswithMitz Indeed those arms.
I'm a recent order and mine came injected moulded so I thought you had printed those yourself. I'll need to build a model. Thanks
What sort of D.O.C. can you take on that Skinny Jenny Bit, Mitz? ... looking at investing in one.
I normally will run a roughing pass with an endmill in conjunction with the skinny Jenny for the finishing pass. This process runs much faster than just doing a finish pass at full depth. Having said that, I have run (tested) the skinny without the roughing up to 5/8” deep but feedrates were significantly slower. (80 ipm). Shoot me an IM if you’d like more details.
where can you buy this bit...didnt see it on there website

Very nice where can I buy one?
Link to Cody’s website is in description. From what Cody told me it may be another week or two before they’re available but check his website on Monday...I think more information will be posted
Why is your shipping on the bits so expensive? $47 for 2 bits within Ontario? That's insane.
I don’t sell or ship the Jenny Bits, I just did a review in my video. They are sold from Cadence Mfg Design and ship from the US. However, Onefinity keeps stock on these bits too in Ontario (just north of Toronto) and can be purchased on the onefinitycnc.com website
nice video! i like them bits.
