I'm in tears. I was going through really bad depression yesterday and I was about to end my life because I felt so alone. I was about to give up on christianity. I asked God if he could just let me know that he was with me. Today I was talking to a friend who was thinking of suicide. I started to pray for her and somehow I started to feel like he was with me again. I started to listen to this and began to cry. I'm still in tears. I know my papa lives & he's always with me. Love you Jesus.
I know u this is 9 yrs.late hope your still here. I also wanted 2 end my life b4. Ended up in the hospital & was close 2 death! I'm happy that I'm here today. I have 2 beautiful young men now. I still take depression meds. But I'm thankful I'm here to c my boys & my grandchildren grow up!

Music is about interpretation. Personally I found this whilst searching for songs for my sons funeral. To me it speaks to me about how I felt about my son, he was and is my everything. My life was perfect with him in it. My faith is being seriously tested right now and I'm not sure I believe anymore. This is still a good piece of music.

I've listened to this song since I was in Elementary School. Now I'm a University Student and this song always sounds GREAT. Every time I listen to it. Definitely one of the BEST song that ever written in music history.

People place too much emphasis on the logistics and detail of the Word and so so the word is not appreciated, it is given labels and then ultimately drown out by cultural differences and meaningless details. I choose to see this song about something soul-shaking, a love that nobody seems to be able to find in anyone but Jesus....I have found this incredible purposeful and mind blowing, deep, amazing love.....it takes over me and changes me to want to love and make a difference and love Him back.......It brings me to my knees and brings tears to my eyes that through all my imperfections and mistakes and selfishness that Jesus could still be recklessly, selflessly in love with me....thats my view

Thank you :). I find things that are written truely from the heart sound wiser than anything written out of what ppl have heard or gone to school for. A psychologist could come on here and say they know everything about the minds of abused girls, but really the only ones that know how it feels are those that have been abused. Same goes for experiencing God. A priest could say they KNOW everything ABOUT God but only those that have had a personal encounter WITH God can truely say how sweet it is.
