From July 1, 2024, a 7-day waiting period will be mandatory for mobile number portability to curb SIM swap scams.
The National Pension System (NPS) will now invest contributions made before 11 AM on the same day, providing the same-day NAV.
Key deadlines include Citibank credit card migration to Axis Bank by July 15, 2024, and the deadline for filing income tax returns by July 31, 2024.
Credit card payments via third-party apps like Cred, PhonePe, and Paytm must now be routed through the BBPS platform.
Individuals with income less than 7 lakhs may still need to file ITR under certain conditions.
Several banks, including YES Bank, SBI, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank, have announced changes to their credit card offerings.
New criminal laws are in effect, including mandatory FIR registration at any police station, crime scene videography, and online complaint filing.
Jio, Airtel, and Vi have all increased their phone tariffs.
