  • This video deals with the topic of suicide. You have been warned.
Today, while driving back from PDX airport, a man jumped off the NW 12th Street Bridge onto I-84, directly into the fast lane. He successfully killed himself. I was maybe 20 cars back. I did not see him jump. But I felt something. I knew someone had died. And I could not help him. Dear Beautiful Stranger. I am sorry we let you down. Here is a video just for you.

I'll show this to Debs one day when she's strong enough. She's been in the dark for many years. x

Wow very Deep an in touch with humanity and very compassionate about life and very True about a lesson to be learned from this as this video has taught me and got me thinking about what can be done instead of what couldn't be done... May he Rest In Paradise

Most of us cling to life until the last breath but sadly so many unfortunate people find life gets to the point where they can't bear it anymore. We are definitely made of stardust. I did experience a very short moment of death (heart stopped for 20 seconds before I was revived) and it was interesting that it felt pleasant and I could see blue and it was like flying through the sky until there was a loud noise and I was suddenly lying on a cold hospital floor with the crash team around me. Was it a dying brain trying to make sense of things or something else? I have no idea but it has changed my perspective and made me more open to other ideas about existence. This experience has obviously affected you a lot, thank you for sharing how it made you feel.

This is so sad, especially now that it's accompanied by a random cricket making noises outside my house...
