Thanks for watching!
I loved being able to virtually follow along in this experience. It’s always nice seeing Ron and Parker as well! As for they plane, she’s a beauty! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks buddeh! Wish you'd been able to make it down!
The person in the background falling.. 0:57
Haha totally missed that
Hah! I didn't even spot that when editing! Too funny :)
mixing brake fluid can be an expensive and dangerous mistake. it isnt hard to find the red stuff.
Eric, once upon a time, in a video posted by you folks, you made a comment. That comment was something along the lines of how blessed you considered yourself having been brought up in an aviation family.
I had no such privilege, but in that moment, I decided that my kids would have the opportunity to say those words. Thanks for sharing your passion mate. Much love for what you do all the way from Western Australia.
What an awesome way to look at it! I'm stoked for your journey with your kids!
Too funny! "I have to poop!!". I've wondered lately how to you do #1 and worse #2 at 3,000 ft?!
Well my Saturday’s off to a great start!
Looks like an epic adventure Eric.
ok now this is epic
That chess board is probably worth as much as the plane (yeah that's an exaggeration but it's likely worth a lot)
Ahh, the pre pre pre 152. Sweet lookin' bird!
Ive been doing flight sims my whole life and am interested in buying a plane, but the 120 seems very old, is there any newer model that is still not too expensive? I guess I need a lot of mechanic skills too? Maybe best to stick to FS 2020?
Aneesh Froome lots of newer models. But the classics are my favorite.
Beautiful airplane Eric, Happy for you man!
Thanks brother, I love all the things that go vroom ;) (especially if they can fly)
Hi super video
I loved my 120. Always wanted flaps like a big airplane though.
Another good excuse to kick in some rudder and slip like mad ;)
anyone else catch the person in the background of the beginning of the video wiping out😂 awesome video though!
Yeah! That was wild! I didn't see it until we watched the video!
Dude, you missed your first checklist item-- "fully adjust gross weight"... Missing or partially completing the PP (Pre-Poop) checklist item is a bust.. LOL--- such a great airplane....
So much fun that process. Nerves of steel to buy an aircraft over pics and conversation.
Hired a good A&P IA also, lol
Hi you don't have to initiate with rudder for a turn
Howdy Eric, I had a 1946 C-120 and loved it. It was destroyed in the famous microburst incident at Fort Hood, TX in 1988. Bummer. I want another one! I see you have the "sissy" landing gear extenders. They are a great mod if you really want to nail the brakes during a STOL landing.
Oh man! I'm sorry to hear you lost her. What a bummer. The extenders definitely help with the nose heavy nature for sure :) I miss being able to get the tail off as quickly as my Cub though, lol
Nice bird mate. Wait whose jeans are you wearing??
Hahaha I had ONE pair ;)
Where’s part 2? What happened to the plane?
It’s here on this channel :) we restored it, loved it, and flew it for a few years. It lives with a friend on the West Coast now!
Wow that was super interesting
Thanks Aaron!
You don’t need brakes to fly a light airplane.
Great video! I am looking for a 120 or 140 as well.
This one will be for sale next week!
@@aviator let me know the details on it.
@@marcuswray1797 Send me your email! Just came out of the most extensive Annual I've ever heard of!
@No Thx I'm shopping for an Rv-6. Need the capital from this to justify the expense :)

Hi does the plane have any adverse yaw
Matt Woody no
Hey bros, I always wanted a plane. How much would that beauty cost?
mir mohammed Rayyan all fixed up, around $25k
This airplane didn't have a battery originally and it's a real shame this one has a battery. Sucks. Other than that, good video. Great plane.
Da plane, da plane, boss...
O.K. Eric, I'll bite. Is this plane going to replace your Cub? Are we going to see this plane in the background at the school?
Not sure yet :) You'll definitely see a few more videos with it at the very least though!
How much did it cost
It's for sale for $24,000 now
@@aviator why?
Swampy Dave too many planes :)
Part 2... 😑 not ok...lol
