    First of all, I just found your channel and like you, I am infatuated with my new Himalayan!!
    I am from the US and just purchased a 2021 2 weeks ago. I also have a Harley Electra Glide Classic that my wife and I ride, and so my main reason for getting the Himmie was to commute on and I travel every day 56 miles round trip and about 60-70% is done on highway at 65mph, the rest is 55mph and then the rest is in town city streets of course. Should I consider getting a powertronic at this point? I have not made any other mods to the bike as of yet. I am going to be doing the first service this weekend and I'm told the bike will kind of come into its own after the first service and up to around 1000 miles. Sorry for the long comment, and thank you in advance!

    Since I have addicted to your video.. I have come upon this video and gain some knowledge about Powetronics ( but not as much u have explained)... But before owning a "Himi", your videos help me to gain a more knowledge as I said you in the insta chat ( my name is Dhaya. I don't know that you have remembering me)
    But at last for continuous speech for 3 mins and you take a breathe and laughed loudly it keeps me remembering the school days😂😂 where we can't understand but it should because it is important..
    But I need to learn about motorcycles and I'm sure that your video will keep pushing up my mind to know more about it.. Thanks Ben Bro, for inspiring me...
    Always admired from you- Dhaya❤

    Ben, i bought the Powertronics box and uploaded the exhaust specific map, facing a strange issue, the bike sometimes misfires, throttle feels choppy surprisingly feels bogged down. The funny thing is, the default map that came in the ECU felt better. Any reason you can think off as to why this is happening? Running on a powerage ffe and stock filter.

    • @andreasbrandstetter9221
      @andreasbrandstetter9221 Před 2 lety +5

      Same for me the map with exhaust does not increase any fuel at low and mid rpm... To me the map is bad/ wrong.. Start with the standard map(without exhaustl and work on that. For example increase the fuel 2-5 percent when add a freeflow exhaust and air filter....

      Hey there, i too have powertronic installed on my bs6 himalayan ,although i dont have any other mods done ,like an exhaust or filter. Yet somehow i too experience similar issues that you are facing , ocassional misfire , choppy throttle at lower rpms. Please do let me know if you have found a solution for this. As i had called up the folks at Racedynamics , all they said was to perform the throttlr calibration and the problem should be solved. The problem was solved temporarily , after a day or two the bike started behaving the same. So yea i hope to hear from you .

    A friend of mine bought a Himi also and this weekend i had the chance to drive his bike and then my bike again, so it was easy to compare. His totaly stock, mine with airfilter, exhaust and powertronic. The difference is very clear noticable for both of us. The torque at low end is much better on mine and it feels more lively in every rpm range. Even the top end and excelleration is better. So for me the ecu is totaly worth the money.
    I have modyfied the map without exhaust becausw it runs better than the map with exhaust...

    Hello sir , i recently bought the product for my 2020 bs6 himalayan ,im pleased with the changes in behavior of the bike but im still eager to learn how to tweak the stock maps as per my needs . There isnt much online about how to use the powertune software and make tweaks by yourself. If you could help me out with how i can get familiar with the basics of using powertune to tweak the maps it would be wonderful. Please respond and help a fellow subscriber.
