Have any questions or comments? We'd love to hear from you!
Hi , good point in the hardshell jackets in cold weather. my winter rides are often very windy. I have found my favorite jacket is Loki softshell It has a built-in neck gaiter, which sits away from your face and doesn’t freeze up on you it also has a hood that will fit over my helmet and mittens if you need them.
I just bought a pair of dakine gore tex snowboard/ ski gloves , they are awesome. The ones i got are slimmer like biking gloves and they are warm
Great vid.....Doc. keep em coming.
Thanks, will do!
Great info, Ben! I also like to wear a balaclava (THIN!).
That's a great tip! Thanks for your comment!
awesome tips!
Glad you like them!
One annoyance I found is that most facemasks will ice up and start restricting your breathing relatively quickly. I like the Seirus balaclavas. The mouth holes and nose cutout make breathing easier and prevent my goggles from fogging. Other than my hands and feet, I've been surprised just how little I need to wear to stay warm even in subzero temps. That first mile or so while you warm up can be pretty miserable though!
Thanks for your comment and recommendation! The first mile is always the worst.
What style of pants are you wearing?
