Yeah Shane’s right this episode completely reinvented mr freeze before this he was just a common villain with a ice gun. This show fleshes him out with an emotional back story and depth that is now how mr freeze is seen in most appearances now
People have already mention this But Paul Dini the writer for this show also worked on The Clone Wars he wrote the episode where Ahsoka and Luminara fight Ventress During Season 1
Although this is mostly episodic and Mr Freeze doesn't appear a lot he's one of those characters who has change some what through out this show and Batman Beyond
