Great video. Have you experienced ERROR: PRINTER HALTED. KILL() CALLED on your X2? Mine was printer perfectly fine and then the bed appears to be jammed against the end stop and that code appears.

Доброго времени. По вашим видео очень многое переделал в своём Artillery sidewinder X1. Спасибо вам большое. Теперь приобрёл Ender 3 S1. Жду от вас новых видео по этой модели. Добра и счастья.

Hi there, thanks for the assembly video!
I have a possibly unrelated problem with my X2, I have uncontrollable elephant's foot on this printer. Pretty sure it's been around since day 1, but only recently I started printing functional parts with it.
I've checked - bed level, Z offset and changed slicer settings to check each potential cause, the only "improvement" is the first layer compensation that is working from the slicer.
What else could this be? Should I start buying these PC wheels and mod it? What are your thoughts on POM anti-backlash nuts? How can I check for Z binding as that's been mentioned as another potential cause?
Signed - a guy who just wants a decent calibration cube

Hi! Very instructive videos! Is there any place we can access the mods you have on the x2?

Hey! Awesome videos. I’m learning so much thank you! I do have a question about the lead screw sync belt. I have a sidewinder x1 and I’m wondering if I should relocate the z sync belt above the bearing blocks? In your experience, does this belt matter if it’s below or above the bearing blocks? Impacting the lead screw alignments in anyway? Thanks!

Than you very much, Im happy you are learning from my videos. To answer your questions, the location of the sync best is not super critical, just as long as its as close to the bearings as possible ether above or below.

Hey! First of all I am really grateful for your work, you make me more comfortable tinkering with my machine.
I just went to adjust my Z-rollers like you did, but I cannot get the upper outer roller to grip the gantry slot properly on both sides. Either the lower roller gets pulled to the gantry too hard or too loose or the upper roller won´t grip it at all. Feel like I´m too dumb to wrap my head around that...
So I loosened the 3 screws of the Z wagon, rested the X-axis on distance blocks like you did and tried adjusting the spring tension, but it is already screwed in pretty hard. So hard actually that I cannot screw it in further with my allen key without fear of breaking it...
I have no problems printing at all (even really tall models), but those rollers seem to be really really loose and I imagine problems coming up in the future.
Maybe you got some tips on what I might doing wrong?

It sounds like you are at the mercy of the manufacturing tolerance of the parts and tolerance stacking of the assembled components. The tolerance is an allowable deviation from the exact design spec, ie squareness, flatness, hole alignment ect. And the stacking is that deviation on all the components combined, if every part deviates on the same side of the spec, that can add up to an undesirable result in the final assembly. Get is as best you can and if its printing good I wouldnt worry about it too much.

Why I can´t move my Z axis like you just by hand? When the printer is full mounted?
