Looks like you got lucky with your 1080p camera, I had to disassemble mine and correct the focus. I also have had problems with video recording. You definitely have to initiate it via the app. It also seems redundant that it is simultaneously recoded in the app while being recorded on the drone's DVR. I bought my E520 in the hope that it would perform better in the wind than my E58 but they are about the same. It looks like the E520 only gets kudos for longer flight time. and better video (once you get it focused).
Yeah exactly, it’s good for learning to fly that’s for sure! I think if you’re looking for better footage you really have to pay the money and upgrade to something like a DJI drone.

I found mine impossible to control, even in light winds. It drifted off and in no time was not responding to my controls and I lost it completely

Does it have a follow me function?
Anyone having weird issues with their 520? When min encounters a headwind, it immediately starts a rapid descent until it hits the gorund, then lifts off again. I have calibrated and set up everything multiple times. I have flown it with my phone connected and disconnected (in case it was causing an issue). I zeroed in after three flights on the headwind issue, and tested it over and over during flight. Headwind=rapid descent. Any clues, folks?
And, where'd you get an E520 for $50??
Do you need a licence for it because it's over 250g
How can we calibrate this drone? What steps should we take? I can’t calibrate mine.
I would just use the trim buttons to calibrate unless you have the gps version.
Tube Techie but I see some videos that people rotates the drone and it beeps to show it’s already calibrated. When I rotate mine, it just doesn’t beep and flys totally out of control. Do you know what to do?
To my understanding that’s to calibrate gps. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, I didn’t have to do any of that.

Yes but it wasnt straight forward how to do it and I couldnt find a way to download the video from the app.

whats the difference between this 520 to the E58?
The E58 is smaller and has less battery life along with a even trashier camera
If the sd card doesn’t work you can just screen record the your phone because the camera is on your phone

Best thing to do with that drone is bin it,,I call them mechanical menaces ,they don’t come back,the wind takes them away,and the camera is about as much use as a concrete parachute,,
Gone to 120 meter in a large City
Drone I ordered came in from Banggood and was defective out of the box. Customer service has been a joke at best when they do reply. Had to get PayPal involved in hopes of getting a working replacement or full refund. Buyer beware of this company

What you get in the box is a load of shite, save your money and pay for a dji,,you won’t regret it,,
