Want to rent one of these tiny apartments, go here!
spilytus.co.jp/ququri/
Yes, it is tiny. But the loft makes a good bedroom. It has laundry, private, bathroom, and a big window. That's more than I've seen in some other places.
as someone who lived in a students dorm in germany for about 7 years i could totally see myself living in a tiny apartment like that as long as i can fit my 6'6'' self on a matress to sleep somewhere. i love having everything in arms reach.
I could definitely fit there being 4’11 but I have no idea how that would work at 6’6
@@cocosphynx911 right 😂😂😂😂😂😂 💀
I am from Raleigh North Carolina and I'll learn about you on out and about on WRAL news so now you have a new subscriber from your home state go Tarheels
@@cocosphynx911 Same here with 5'2 :)
I’m also 6’6 and would die of claustrophobia with the first 12 hours
This was a much needed collab! I've watched Tokyo Lens for awhile, but I never thought you guys would do anything together😅
This is why I live an hour and a half from Tokyo!! I couldn’t ever in my life have lived in this little of space. Video nicely done!!!! 😊
You definitely got the right person to show you an affordable Japanese apartment; Norm is great.
If I was young and not tied down, I would totally rent this place. You aren’t going to be home a lot anyway. There is a lot to do there.
I actually wouldn’t mind living here as a student. 😅 This is still a bigger space than shared rooms of 4 people in our city.
This is a good space for a single person that works a lot of hours in downtown Tokyo. Very convenient. I guess there is a place to store your bike.
Love your channel always so fun to watch
I just downsized and moved into a one bedroomed bungalow and i thought it was small.
It now feels huge in comparison 😊
But if thats what you can afford then so be it.
Better than a cardboard box 📦
Tokyo lens is my fav youtuber! Glad this video came up in my recommendations! Ill be sure to check out your videos now also!
Love when you collab with other CZcamsrs, this is the most insane apartment!
Thanks Bro for this long tour 😁👍🏼
Yoo love the videos so much fun to just sit down and zone out to them
This is Gonna b so Good CS🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Wednesday😀….
That looks so confy like gimme wifi and food and I'm never leaving💀💀
This is honestly a fantastic design. This is very affordable. I live in an apartment that is quite large in the middle of no where for $700 a month. I wish it were smaller. I like the idea of everything being compact. I'm a gamer so I would have a small desk set up down on the ground floor.
I absolutely love this.
A friend of mine lives at a similar space with a lower roof and it feels worse.
Excellent vidéo je n'ai jamais vu un appartement aussi petit , la méthode pour étendre les linges et bien pensé
Love your videos hello from the UK 🇬🇧
Would love to live in this apartment would be cool if they started doing micro apartments like this in the UK
Norm!! Awesome video
0:34 Caleb’s reaction is everything 🤣🤍🤣
I could for sure live there! That looks so cool❤
It’s perfect!!
Cool !!!! You want with Norm!!! Tokio Lentz!!!! Didnt expect that!!!😍😍😍
Eles poderiam colocar espelhos nas paredes e colocarem portas com diferentes sistemas de fechamento para otimizar o espaço.
So cool to see a Norm cameo! 💕✌️
I clicked on this because I saw Norm. I've been a follower of his for years. I enjoyed seeing your reaction.
There you have it! It is in SHINJUKU! That is not luxury. In Tokyo, the district where you live might show luxury for convenience to/from work. The facilities in that flat are outdated and except for the WC that is heated, nothing in that room shows luxury. Actually, owners need to be held accountable for building and being allowed to rent spaces less than 20square meters.
Yeah, ridiculous to call this Luxury In the title. They just found the most overpriced tiny apartment In the most expensive part of Tokyo and labeled it luxury. My favorite part was one of the guys acting like 30 min one way is a long time on a subway/train lol.
It wouldn't be ideal, for me, but I could definitely learn to adapt and be content there. Nice little apartment!
Tokyo Lens!! 💖
I would make the living room above as it has a spacious feel with the view and open space below, and would have a fold out bed and table and chairs below. It works. Location is most important.
Tokyo lens! 🎉
I would totally live there.
Heck yeah that place is sick
You should visit woodstock new york ...
🇳🇱❤️That's insane, how can live a happily life in such a cramp 🏠. Toilet is nice.
this is all i need
My apartment in Kainan was probably 5 times bigger. My closet was huge, and I had a separate kitchen, dining, lounge and sleeping area with tatami. I had a balcony with washing machine and clothes line.
As a person who is less than 5 feet tall, I've comfortably lived in a place about this size and fit everything I needed just fine.
I could totally live there as my introvert self is what Japan is known for. It it means I have a place to stay live in Japan I wish I could move there already. For the price is not bad at all compared to what UK and “living cost” crisis allows me to get.
Do they have like we do in the US. Pay first and last month plus security..do you pay for heat or AC .
This is almost too much for me
I’m an out doors person anyway so food and sleep are the only things I’d do at home if I go abroad sooo…
😆😆
If I were to ever live in Japan for a year, I could totally see myself living here.
I could live in something like that probably 20 years ago... I’d definitely break a hip falling out of that loft! 😂👵🏻
Nice layout tho😮
There is also other factors to consider where the various apartments are. Employers will look to see what area you are living in if you apply for jobs. Best to not want to be caught living in what the Japanese culture considers to be the 'Burakumin' areas. Harder to get jobs living in such areas.
Man, my little Leopalace Apt feels like...a palace? A mansion? when compared w that place! LOL
I own a 651sqft condo and damn I love my little space ❤
Congratulations girly 👊🏾
yooooo the crossover! Where's Okazaki-san!
As an absolute introvert I love here 😂. Even if I could have double of space sharing with someone (let’s say the total space is 6 times this space to share with other two people paying the same price) I would still prefer living here.
Looks more practical than a shoebox new york apartment lol I've seen alot of videos where an NY apartment of this size won't even have a restroom, shower, and dryer unit in the unit itself and you're paying probably twice the price.
Super rhythm
I would take that anytime over house share in London
No! most definitely could not live in that tomb. I would feel like the walls are closing in on me. 700 a month is way too much for that. 200 a month it should be at the most.😫
I had a 35 m² apartment 45 minutes west of Shinjuku. I was paying ¥51,000 a month. That included a parking space. I had a nice little patio. It was about a kilometer from the train station. In Japan, prices drop the further you get away from the train station.
I’m not sure I can live in there long term I would just want to have a comfortable sleeping area so I’d probably use the loft to store things and find a chair that can recline into a daybed
Dang, thats small
😅I used to live in Tokyo during my uni time . The smallest apartment I got was 8cho(around 14 m2 ) and sharing with 2others girls … 😂 the rental was 80k yen .my apartment was located in to shima ku - yamanote line ,5mins walks to station . Pretty cool! Oh my first student dorm was not far from Tokyo Uni , look like bigger than this
Collab I didn't ask for but needed.
I would live here
I legitly believe I could live in this apartment. Got to do a lot of Marie Kondoing first though.
That gives me anxiety just looking at it!! I’m wondering if anyone has experience living in one of those during Covid? I would have gone insane!!
I wouldn't, not because it's small but because of the bedroom loft. I get up a lot at night, I'd probably off myself trying to go up and down those stairs in the middle of the night while half asleep. I also wouldnt be able to set up the loft as a workspace because of the same reason.
korean goshiwon please
I've lived in worse places and I still couldn't see myself living here. One because of the price obviously and two climbing up to bed. I just know I wouldn't want to climb up a ladder when really tired lol. To live in that neighborhood would be pretty awesome and the high tech toilet is cool as well.
You certainly could make the bed on the ground floor and use the loft as a study/TV watching/working space.
Please visit South Korea!
I live in a studio that is about 7 of that micro apartment and dont pay that much more than the asking price of this apartment. Could I live there sure would I no way.
Huge difference from the micros in New York.
At least a fridge & small kitchen to cook. No way you need a large ventilation fan (reverse) to suck in air.
i see that apartment as a challenge, can i get the plans or the blueprints to designa an interior idea?
Yesss. U could probably figure it out kinda from the tour. But an exact plan would be so cool.
I could totally live there… but i have a 6’7” husband, a 6’1” teenager and 2 other kids on their way up in height. So… we’d probably have to spend a butt load of money on a bigger place 😅
I reccomand you to visit israel. Very expensive and get half of it (especially in Tel aviv and Jerusalem)
I could totally live in this micro apartment IF, and only if it had AC. But imagine how spaces like this could solve America’s homeless problem! Hey San Francisco & LA - we’re doing housing wrong!
As someone who is 5'2 for the cheaper prices, I could definately live in apartments like this, as long as they had a bathroom and kitchen 😂😂
Imagine getting a cramp up there
I live in a similar sized apartment in seattle for $810. It's worth it for me, I even have a little dog. I take a lot of walks.
Definitly doable, everything i own fits in a sedan.
Can I rent an 1K apt for 6 Months?
What is the luxury part?
These apartments in Japan are soooo much cheaper than ones of the same size or smaller in the US, which is just sad.
Absolutely not, especially since I work from home. Not having a separation of space - kitchen, living room/bedroom - would drive me round the bend. I think these flats are only good if you're really on a shoestring budget and want to be in the city center or if you're hardly ever home.
Now we know what ruffin it actually is.
I have claustrophobia, so there’s no way I could live in such a small space. Yikes!
I like japan apartments design, prefer switch my house into this tiny apartment
That apartment is not luxury in Japan, but average. The design is very common over there. It’s not a surprise at all..
At least it's clean
No thanks I like my 4 bedroom home and my yard, garden and patio 😊
Make a video in Azabujuban.
As long as I have a bathroom I could handle it. I couldn't share a hallway bathroom like in NY.
I can leave in that apartment for a month and explore Japan.
I live in Toronto and I pay $700 per month and I live in less square footage than that place is. I *could totally*. Live there. My place is about 100 sq feet.
What happened to that friend of his the lady with the cats who was from Canada?
I would be afraid I would fall out of the window coming down the ladder.
if i was making good money and pretty much be able to work from anyone on the go or at home on laptop i would honselty take that space $700 is not bad
I have subscribed to your channel and I love watching your videos but this video is too shaky...gave me a headache :(
House tours go international ✈️
I'd only live there if I literally spent all day outside somewhere.
I couldn't live in anything that small.
