A little disco-ish song about how Lieutenant Columbo believes that there is niceness in everyone. A little bit anyhow! To be featured on the next Smersh Pod episode on April 24th shows.acast.com/smershpod #chilihop
So yeah, this video got me into Columbo. Always knew about it of course, but nothing beyond him being a detective that outsmarts the murderer, and "One more thing...". This video sold me on his actual character tho, and I'm a good chunk into the series now. So thanks.
I watched your RLM mixes first. Then I looked through and found this song, and I got recommended clips of Columbo. I watched a clip and now I am watching the show and I really love it, so thank you for introducing it to me in a way lol and thank you for the songs, you make amazing music
@@noiselund yea i had been shown some of your RLM stuff and liked them alot. but then i recently watched all seasons of Columbo and to then find out you did Columbo videos too! what a massive treat!
That's what I always really loved about Columbo as a character. He really does drive a barely-working piece-of-crap car. When he bores the perp to tears with a story about some errand his wife sent him on, it's not something he made up. When he explains how he figured out the mystery, he won't sound smug, just disappointed.
I agree it's brilliant. And I don't think there is any other character that has so many flaws as Columbo. He's afraid of heights, he gets seasick, he doesn't like guns, he's a terrible driver and he's forgetful. Yet still brilliant at solving murders.
Sorry for the potato-quality of the video. I will upload a better version if/when I get permission from Universal. There are a lot of restrictions using Columbo content, unfortunately.
@@america5283 I'm not qualified for the YT partner program. You need something like a gazillion viewing hours or a googolplex of YT shorts and honestly I can't be bothered. This is just a fun little hobby :)
Your remixes are making me wanna start watching so many shows because the passion you put into each one of your videos only means that there's something very special I'm missing in TV land
Noiselund, you never disappoint with your content. I listen to most of your stuff multiple times a day and I'm sure my neighbors are so annoyed by me but it makes me so happy. Keep up the great work!
Aw thank you friend, that's very kind of you to say! I'm glad you enjoy them, hopefully your neighbors enjoys them as well :D And thank you for still sticking around!
Absolutely lovely. I love your Columbo tracks. I'm hopeful you'll do a Columbocore track from the Dick Van Dyke episode at some point. I always felt that, "Were you a witness to what he just did?" had a great natural rhythm to it.
Thanks buddy, glad you like 'em! I've got a few more ready to go soon. I'm waiting patiently for some more awesome Jim Danger blues/rock! I just love "Born Blue" man, so good.
@@noiselund Thanks a million! New ones fairly soon - but for now, there ARE a shitload of 'em on my Originals Playlist (& 'X-Rated Danger Playlist, also all originals), on my CZcams channel. Your comments are Greatly Appreciated!
Lol thank you friend. Glad you liked it! Oh man me too, such a horrible way to go. Ruth Gordon trying to act distraught in front of Columbo, yet obviously reveling in the fact that the guy had a slow, agonizing death is just pure brilliance.
I think of shows like Columbo and Star Trek and All in the Family when i think about people saying media is too woke these days. Some parts of media will always strive for the better nature of humanity. Of course there's also always exploitative trash too, because Death Wish and Highlander are also a lot of fun.

This is pretty much what watching Columbo is like.
This rules
This song is so profound.
The message we truly need in these troubled times.
Noice. Noiceness

RLM _and_ Columbo? Got great taste, this one
Lol thank you, and same to you then!
I'm enjoying your work--and I think this is my favorite! If only it was longer!
every time you release a Columbo song i am forced to go and watch the episode
Lol I won't make a "Last Salute to the Commodore"-song then. You can thank me later.
Every time there's a new Columbo song, I'm forced to go smoke a cigar..🥸🚬
Just fantastic! 😊🎉 Many thanks!

Columbo + Noiselund = 🎯
Such a great episode too. I've had nightmares about that safe.

Which Columbo Episode is this?
This is the one where she locked her murderous ex son-in-law in the safe, right? Great episode
