Nice. At 14:00 I would have played either Q10 or P8 but you netted all of black with P10. Much better.
Its interesting that black invaded R3 (7:39) and thought it is possible to live there against 3 white stones already ocupying the corner, but wouldn't defend bottom left 3-3 with only 1 stone.
But I guess we've all been there.
Yeah, at some point he was probably afraid i was getting too much territory, so began acting irrationally. however, since the outside didnt go well, was likely afraid again to defend his own corner with an entire move since that meant i could keep doing things.
Sometimes though such formation is still very weak to 3-3 invasion anyways. Put some stones outside and it will fall apart so shouldn't be just counting 3v1 and think it's easy fight. That's what handicap games taught me

8:51 that board position is almost identical to the position in Lessons in the Fundamentals of Go for life and death. Is that why you played it?
Oh, i didn't notice that. But, no. I played as i did because white's position is just that good when you simply keep yourself solid

Haven't played on Pandanet for ages. Insteresting fact about it is that (at least in my case) Pandanet seems to be the only server where my rank was exactly the same as EGF rank :) I might revisit it soon and see if this is still teh case.
I'm not sure I get the reasoning... "If black cuts at P7, they will separate your 2 groups. But you have nothing to fear, because group B will live".... Ok ?
There are just times when you have to put your foot down and say stop. Stop playing 20kyu moves that you know don't work to try to take the entire board. If enough people stop letting their opponent get away with play like this it will help them grow. Because they will stop playing silly moves.
Very true, also if you play the best move viewers start to copy that instead
